Barcelona are believed to be interested in Paris Saint-Germain winger Angel Di Maria being included in any deal to sell Ousmane Dembele before the transfer deadline.
Dembele's future has been the subject of intense speculation all month with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
The player's agent failed to respond to a string of extension deadlines issued by La Blaugrana, with the club eventually losing patience and publicly stating that they would be looking to sell the winger.
Despite strong Premier League links, PSG emerged as his most likely destination on Sunday. There are conflicting reports over how advanced negotiations are and with less than 24 hours to go until the window slams shut, the two clubs have their work cut out trying to agree a deal.
According to AS, things could be made even more complicated by the inclusion of a PSG player as makeweight in the agreement. Barcelona are thought to value the Frenchman at €20m, but they are also open to a part exchange.
One of the players Barça have indicated an interest in is Di Maria, whose playing time in Paris would likely be reduced by the arrival of Dembele. The 33-year-old is out of contract in the summer and could view Barcelona as his final chance to get a contract at a top European club, however he could take some convincing to move as he wants to win the Champions League this season.
Another player who may be included in negotiations is Juan Bernat. Outside of Jordi Alba, Barça lack depth at left-back, and Bernat, formerly also of Bayern Munich, is struggling for playing time this season and so could be interested in the move.
One player who will apparently not be considered by Barcelona is Mauro Icardi. They do have a 'Plan B' for another striker, but Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is their preferred target.
