Manchester United co-owner Avram Glazer is expected to be in attendance for this Saturday's FA Cup final against Manchester City.

The Red Devils are looking to add a second piece of silverware to their 2022/23 haul and in the process end their rivals' hopes of winning the treble - Man City have already wrapped up the Premier League title and take on Inter in the Champions League final next week.

The Athletic report that making his way to Wembley this weekend will be Glazer. The American businessman was also present at Man Utd's Carabao Cup triumph against Newcastle back in February and was booed by thousands of fans.

Glazer too watched Man Utd's 1-0 loss to Chelsea in the Women's FA Cup final in May.

Glazer's appearances at Man Utd games have been few and far between this season - prior to the Carabao Cup final, the last match he attended was the 2-1 loss at home to Brighton on the opening weekend of the campaign.

Man Utd fans have constantly protested against Glazer's ownership. Most recently, supporters marched through the streets of Manchester prior to their recent 1-0 win at home to Aston Villa.

Man Utd takeover latest

Man Utd are currently up for sale, and 90min reported last month that the Glazer family - Avram and his brother Joel - were leaning towards accepting a bid led by Nice owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe. The offer could allow the Glazers to remain at the club in some capacity.

Ratcliffe is being rivalled by Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani of Qatar, who has made an offer of roughly £5bn to take full control of Man Utd.
