Aston Villa will look to stop a three-game losing streak when they host Tottenham on Saturday evening.

A hot start under Steven Gerrard has rapidly cooled, and although Villa have nothing to really play for this season, the boss will be determined to ensure this season doesn't end on too sour of a note.

There could be a few bid returns to the squad that fell 2-1 to Wolves last time out, so here's how Gerrard could set up.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Emiliano Martinez (GK) - Martinez needs one more clean sheet to make it ten for the season.

Matty Cash (RB) - Cash remains on the radar of a number of top sides but Villa will be hoping that his new contract scares the suitors off.

Ezri Konsa (CB) - Konsa hasn't looked himself this season and is walking a disciplinary tight rope with all the yellow cards he has been racking up.

Tyrone Mings (CB) - Another defender who isn't living up to expectations right now, Mings needs to step it up.

Lucas Digne (LB) - Taken ill early on against Wolves, Digne is expected to be well enough to start here.

2. Midfielders

Douglas Luiz (DM) - Luiz was dropped from the squad for some sketchy form but he will probably return for this one.

John McGinn (CM) - His form hasn't been pretty and a lot of fans are calling for Carney Chukwuemeka to be given his minutes, but McGinn remains a key part of this squad.

Jacob Ramsey (CM) - Like those around him, Ramsey's form has taken a tumble but the sky is still the limit for him.

Philippe Coutinho (AM) - Coutinho is on a run of three games without a goal, which is his worst stretch since joining the club in January.

3. Forwards

Danny Ings

Danny Ings (ST) - Allowed to miss the Wolves game for the birth of his child, Ings should walk back into the team.

Ollie Watkins (ST) - Watkins scored his side's only goal last time out and should retain his spot alongside Ings.
