Arsenal team news

Arsenal eased their way back into the Champions League by thrashing PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday and suffered no new injury worries.

Mikel Arteta has revealed the Gunners are still assessing winger Gabriel Martinelli ahead of the derby, with Leandro Trossard in line to start again if the Brazil international fails to recover from his hamstring problem in time.

David Raya has started the last two games and should get a third following back-to-back clean sheets. Jurrien Timber, Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny are all sidelined with injuries.

Tottenham team news

Ivan Perisic

Ivan Perisic is unlikely to play again this season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury during training.

Richarlison changed the Sheffield United game from the bench with a goal and an assist late on and may be rewarded with a start up front with Son Heung-min moving back out wide.

Rodrigo Bentancur is stepping up his recovery but still needs more time, while Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil are absent and Giovani Lo Celso is doubtful to make the squad.

Arsenal vs Tottenham score prediction

Sunday's north London derby promises to be just as raucous an occasion as ever and it's an even more exciting feature with both sides in excellent form.

Arsenal picked Tottenham's defensive system apart with two wins in this fixture last season but while Spurs lost perennial derby scorer Harry Kane during the summer, only Brighton (15) and Manchester City (14) have scored more league goals than Ange Postecoglou's side (13) so far.

A trip to the Emirates is a different prospect to recent clashes with Bournemouth, Burnley and Sheffield United, however, and the Gunners are favourites to edge what should be a vastly entertaining game.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-2 Tottenham
