Arsenal still have a glimmer of hope of finishing the Premier League top four heading into their final day clash with Everton this weekend.

The Toffees, meanwhile, have nothing to play for after securing their Premier League status with a stunning 3-2 comeback win over Crystal Palace on Thursday night.

Mikel Arteta's Gunners will have to bounce back from two successive defeats to overcome Frank Lampard and his players, plus hope that already relegated Norwich can somehow snatch a victory against Tottenham, who currently occupy fourth spot.

Arsenal team news

The unfortunate Takehiro Tomiyasu looks set to miss out on this final day meeting after being prematurely withdrawn from his side's 2-0 defeat at Newcastle last time out, joining Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey on the sidelines.

Rob Holding is back available after missing that trip north through suspension and could be set for an immediate return to the starting XI, with Ben White and Gabriel missing training on Wednesday.

Everton team news

The Toffees' ranks will be boosted by the return of Jarrad Branthwaite from a one-match ban, although Salomon Rondon remains out after his straight red card against Brentford.

Meanwhile, respective injuries will keep Andros Townsend and Nathan Patterson out of contention, although Fabian Delph and Yerry Mina could be in line to return to the matchday squad.

Arsenal vs Everton score prediction

Although Arteta's men come into this clash in the midst of a disappointing run and Everton will be on a high after a spectacular Premier League safety-clinching comeback, the Gunners will surely go into this one as favourites.

In order to have any chance of making those top four places by full time, Arsenal have no option but to conclude their campaign with a victory. Against a Toffees side that has already confirmed their survival, they should come out on top.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Everton
