Arsenal take on Brighton at the Emirates Stadium on the final day of the Premier League season with their chances of qualifying for the Europa Conference League and finishing above local rivals Spurs still alive.

The Gunners defeated Graham Potter's side back in December thanks to a 66th minute goal from Alexandre Lacazette. With Brighton already safe and coming into this off the back of an impressive comeback win over champions Manchester City, this could prove a tricky fixture for Mikel Arteta's side.

The Seagulls are one of the top-flight's most entertaining sides and are unlikely to turn up and park the bus and so this should be an entertaining encounter with plenty riding on it for the north Londoners.

Arsenal vs Brighton prediction

Arsenal's biggest problems this season have come when they've faced sides at the Emirates determined on playing with a low-block and subsequently forcing the Gunners to try and unlock a compact and deep defence. More often than not they've failed to do so but in Brighton they're likely to face a side intent on taking the game to the Arteta's men.

The shackles have been off all season for Brighton when it comes to their playing style but the added freedom that comes with being safe from the drop has seen them express themselves even more in recent weeks.

There should be spaces for Arsenal to exploit and their superior individual quality should be enough to see them take all three points.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-1 Brighton
