Arsenal and Bayern Munich are vying to get into the Champions League semi-finals, with the latter holding a slender 1-0 aggregate lead last week's first leg.

Lea Schuller's header was the only thing to separate the sides at the Allianz Arena, with the Gunners hoping to welcome a decent crowd to north London after selling almost 20,000 tickets.

Arsenal responded to that defeat by thrashing Tottenham 5-1 in a WSL derby clash and will take confidence from that even if this is obviously a much tougher game.

Bayern also had a significant weekend since the first leg, winning 1-0 against Wolfsburg on Saturday thanks to a late Georgia Stanway penalty to overtake their domestic rivals and go to the top of the Bundesliga standings.

Arsenal team news

Lina Hurtig has been left of April's Sweden squad and is a fitness doubt but could make the bench.

Steph Catley, Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema are all out.

Jodie Taylor is not eligible for this competition after not being registered in the squad, but Victoria Pelova is pushing for a start after an impressive north London derby performance. Manuela Zinsberger should also return in goal after being rested at the weekend.

Bayern Munich team news

Linda Dallmann and Giulia Gwinn are long-term absentees. Carolin Simon and Tainara are also unavailable here, although all four will still make the trip to London to support their teammates.

Franziska Kett and Glodis Perla Viggosdottir are both at risk of missing the next European match - whether this season or next season - if they pick up another yellow card.

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich score prediction

Bayern are keen to give themselves some breathing space to ensure that, even if Arsenal do score, they will still maintain an aggregate lead overall - so expect them to start fast.

The Gunners have coped admirably without their two best attacking players, but these are the kind of games where Mead and Miedema would make the difference. Without them, there comes a point where Jonas Eidevall's team reach an unfortunate ceiling.

Prediction: Arsenal 1-1 Bayern Munich
