Arsenal will have to face West Ham United on Sunday without one of their key players in Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The versatile Ukrainian has proved to be one of the signings of the season after making the switch from Manchester City last summer, reuniting with Mikel Arteta in north London.

He has made the left-back spot his own and has revolutionised Arsenal's style with his ability to drift seamlessly into midfield to create overloads.

But the Gunners will be without Zinchenko for their trip to West Ham this weekend having picked up a groin problem in last week's 2-2 draw at Liverpool.

A breathless Zinchenko was withdrawn late on at Anfield after being beaten in a duel by Trent Alexander-Arnold leading up to Roberto Firmino's equaliser.

In his place, Kieran Tierney is likely to start at left-back.

The Athletic add that Zinchenko's injury is thought to be minor and it is hoped he will return for next Friday's match against Southampton back at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal will be able to celebrate St Totteringham's Day with just one more win. Tottenham's defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday means they can only reach a maximum points tally of 74, with the Gunners currently on 73 at the top of the Premier League table.
