Arsenal will hope to get back to winning ways when they return to Premier League action against Fulham on Sunday.

The Gunners have won four on the bounce in the competition but slipped up somewhat in midweek with an uncomfortable 2-2 draw with Sporting CP in the Europa League, after which manager Mikel Arteta demanded serious improvement and an immediate reaction.

Here's the lineup he could go for.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale - Matt Turner had a shaky showing against Sporting but was always going to surrender his place to Ramsdale.

RB: Ben White - There's a chance this spot could go to Takehiro Tomiyasu in order to give White a break, but Arteta may stick with his preferred right-back against what could be a tricky Fulham side.

CB: William Saliba - Aleksandar Mitrovic will be looking for a physical battle with Saliba, who has improved aerially since his humbling from Ivan Toney.

CB: Gabriel - How Gabriel and Saliba combine to take on Mitrovic could easily decide which team wins this one.

LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko - Kieran Tierney is expected to return from his illness but he'll remain on the bench behind Zinchenko.

DM: Thomas Partey - Partey was afforded a long rest against Sporting so should have fresh legs here.

CM: Granit Xhaka - Arteta has spoken openly of his desire to hand Fabio Vieira more minutes but this game calls for the physicality and leadership of Xhaka.

CM: Martin Odegaard - Odegaard missed the Sporting game through illness but he should be fit enough to reclaim his spot in the starting lineup.

RW: Bukayo Saka - Injuries to Arsenal's forwards will force Saka even more into the spotlight.

ST: Gabriel Martinelli - Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossard are both injured, and if Gabriel Jesus is to return to the squad, it'll only be on the bench. Martinelli will have to go up top.

LW: Reiss Nelson - That leave a spot open for Nelson. The hero against Bournemouth is playing for his Arsenal future as he approaches the final few months of his contract.
