Arsenal began their pre-season spell with a 1-1 draw with Nurnberg in Germany, Bukayo Saka the Gunners' strike early on. They then jetted over to the Untied States, first thrashing an MLS All-Stars coached by Manchester United and England legend Wayne Rooney in Washington D.C.

Strikes from Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard had Arsenal 2-0 up midway through the first half and a penalty from Jorginho coupled with late efforts from Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz saw Mikel Arteta's side win 5-0.

The Gunners then travelled to New Jersey to face English rivals Manchester United for the first time on American soil. A fiery affair was settled by strikes from Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho, the Red Devils winning 2-0.

Their tour concludes on the opposite side of the country in Los Angeles as they face La Liga champions Barcelona at the SoFi Stadium, home of Stan Kroenke's Rams.

The club's busy summer schedule continues back home upon their return as they face AS Monaco in the first-ever midweek Emirates Cup clash. Arsenal's inclusion in the 2023 Community Shield forced the rescheduling. Arteta's men face Manchester City in the unofficial new season curtain raiser at Wembley a week before their Premier League campaign gets underway.
