Arsenal are set to play five of their WSL games at the Emirates Stadium next season.

Jonas Eidevall's side played three league games at the 60,704-seater stadium this season, as well as five Champions League games, and managed to break attendance records on several occasions.

And the club have now confirmed that five WSL games will be played at the Emirates next season, as well as Champions League games from the group stage onwards should they qualify.

Arsenal CEO, Vinai Venkatesham said: "We're delighted to confirm that our women’s first team will play five WSL games at Emirates Stadium next season.

"We've received fantastic support at Emirates Stadium this year, setting a new record attendance in the WSL and achieving a memorable sell-out for our recent UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final against Wolfsburg earlier this month."

Arsenal have enjoyed several huge attendances during the 2022/23 season, with over 53,000 tickets sold for their north London derby at home to Tottenham. Matches against Manchester United and Chelsea also drew crowds in excess of 40,000.

Last week, the Gunners played the second leg of their Champions League semi-final at home to Wolfsburg in front of a sold-out Emirates Stadium crowd.

In total, over 240,000 tickets have been purchased to watch Arsenal Women at the Emirates this season.

"It's wonderful to see the support for the team at Emirates Stadium, Meadow Park and on the road week in, week out," Venkatesham added.

"This latest announcement ensures that as many supporters as possible can enjoy the matchday experience with us, as we continue to support the sustainable growth of women's football."

Speaking about the impact of playing at the Emirates ahead of their sold-out Champions League semi-final clash, Katie McCabe raved about the momentous occasion and impact of the fans' support.

"The fans are everything. We hear them, we feel them. They give us energy, especially when went 2-0 down; they were still chanting away and singing and cheering us," she said.

"We want people to come and watch us. We have shown that we can get big support and big crowds at the Emirates."
