New Manchester United star Antony has opened up on his relationship with teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
United concluded a €100m deal to sign Antony from Ajax towards the end of a summer transfer window which was dominated by uncertainty over Ronaldo's United future, with the Portugal international asking to leave in search of Champions League football.
With interest in Ronaldo limited, he remained at Old Trafford to see Antony join, and the Brazilian has admitted playing alongside the 37-year-old has still not sunk in.
"I've come to help my team-mates," he told MUTV. "Regardless of age, there's immense talent in all the players.
"Words can’t describe Cristiano, the best in the world. In just a few days, I've learnt a lot from him. He has an extraordinary mind and, whenever I talk to him, I take a lot from it.
"I'm sure that we have a strong attack and it's very promising for the future."
Like Ronaldo's first spell at the club, Antony has brought flair and tricky footwork on the ball, and he pledged to keep that style of play going for years to come.
"I've always done this," he said. "Not just here but for all the teams I've played for. "I've been doing it ever since I was a child. I've always done it - it's one of my characteristics.
"I am adapting and getting used to things here already. Entertaining is something I've always liked and I'll continue doing it."
