1. Majcen showing once again why he is Gokulam's most important player
Gokulam Kerala FC signed Luka Majcen in January of this year and this proved to be a masterstroke as the striker has been brilliant for the side, scoring a staggering 13 goals in just 13 games to lead Gokulam to the I-League title.
The 32-year-old once against showed why he is one of Gokulam's best players, scoring two goals and registering one assist, with head coach, Vincenzo Alberto Anese claiming that the striker is good enough to play for any top-tier ISL outfit.
2. Gokulam continue to impress and impose themselves
Gokulam Kerala came into the game on the back of creating history by becoming the first Indian club to win consecutive titles in I-League history.
Despite being founded only in 2017, Gokulam are one of the best run clubs in India, and their win on the night showed that winning does not depend on having a high budget.
3. ATK's big guns failed to fire on the night
ATK Mohun Bagan came into the game as favourites considering that they had the likes of Roy Krishna, David Williams and Joni Kauko in their side - but all of them struggled in the opener.
The absence of Hugo Boumous was a big blow for Juan Ferrando's side as his side lacked creativity without him.
