Celtic suffered yet another blow in their race for ten-in-a-row, as a stoppage time penalty from Lewis Ferguson secured an astonishing 3-3 draw at Pittodrie.

It was Ferguson who opened the scoring for the Dons before the break, but after a hectic hammer-and-tongs contest, it looked as if Ryan Christie had sealed a vital 3-2 victory from the spot.

Leigh Griffiths had earlier emerged from the bench to cancel out Ryan Hedges' strike with a magnificent curled effort, but the hosts secured a share of the points when Callum McGregor clumsily brought down Hedges in the area, and Ferguson stepped up successfully for a second time.

Let's dive into some player ratings!

CELTIC

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Scott Bain (GK) - 6/10 - Stepped in for the injured Vasilis Barkas and actually looked a step up on the Greek keeper, albeit that doesn't take much. Won't have been happy to face two penalties, though both were clinical.

Jeremie Frimpong (RB) - 5/10 - Lively and positive but suspect defensively at times. Struggled against former Celtic winger Jonny Hayes who enjoyed a good game.

Shane Duffy (CB) - 4/10 - Evidently struggling to handle the step up in quality after swapping Brighton for the Scottish Premiership. Poor under pressure and handed Aberdeen their second goal on a plate.

Kristoffer Ajer (CB) - 6/10 - Had to bail out his partner once or twice, some suspect positioning but he's probably Celtic's best centre-half and showed why here at times.

Diego Laxalt (LB) - 6/10 - Looked steady in an unfamiliar traditional left-back role, though defensive responsibilities limited his attacking involvement. Looked to lack confidence and match sharpness but all of that should come in time.

2. Midfielders

Olivier Ntcham (CM) - 5/10 - Ntcham is an enigma. No-one really seems to know what his best attributes are, but there's no doubt he's capable of winning a game by himself when he's on it. Wasn't quite there here, however, and was sacrificed for captain Scott Brown when his team needed a route back into the game.

Callum McGregor (CM) - 8/10 - Scored one of the goals of the season with a wonderful run from deep, showing just why he is arguably Scotland's best central midfielder. Dictated play throughout though couldn't quite hold things together like Scott Brown can.

Tom Rogic (CAM) - 6/10 - Tends to show up in the big games against Aberdeen but struggled to get involved here, though did lay on a lovely assist for McGregor's equaliser.

3. Forwards

Ryan Christie (RW) - 6/10 - The most involved of Celtic's starting front three but undoubtedly looks wasted out wide, where he lacks the pace to worry full-backs. Stepped up from the spot when he had to.

Albian Ajeti (CF) - 5/10 - Isolated and largely ineffective. Had the fewest touches of anyone on the pitch until he was substituted for the final 20 minutes.

Mohamed Elyounoussi (LW) - 6/10 - Easy to forget he was starting until he popped up and won a penalty. Good in flashes but needs to work harder to get himself involved.

4. Substitutes
