Luis Suarez Backs Barcelona Moves for Neymar & Lautaro Martinez

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has backed a move for PSG's Neymar and Inter's Lautaro Martinez, who have both been heavily linked with a switch to Camp Nou in recent times.
Neymar, of course, sealed a sensational move to Paris Saint-Germain back in 2017 as he looked to take his career to the next step, but he has since been heavily linked with a return.
As for Martinez, he has been in impressive form for Inter this season, netting 16 times in 31 appearances in all competitions before football was suspended due to the coronavirus crisis.
Barça have been linked with a whole host of attackers as they look to reinforce their front line, and 22-year-old Martinez has been identified as a forward who can compete with and eventually replace the ageing Suarez.
Suarez himself has now spoken out on La Blaugrana's interest in Neymar and Martinez, with the Uruguayan heaping praise on both players. He told Mundo Deportivo: "It is difficult to talk about players today.
"As is the situation in the world today, talking about who can come because of how everything is complicated. But I can speak about what these players are like and they are huge players.
"Obviously, Neymar, everyone knows him and we know the appreciation that we have for him in the dressing room, which as a player is indisputable because he still has a lot to give and in the dressing room he would always be welcome because of the affection he has.
"Lautaro is a player who has been growing a lot in Italy, he is a nine who has movements that are spectacular and that reflects how great a striker he is. It is not that you feel compatible but that you feel happy that the club wants to incorporate players who come to help and fulfil the same objective of everyone - that of wanting to win everything."
A source recently told 90min that Martínez is indeed top of Barcelona's wish list this summer and the forward's priority is to seal a move to Camp Nou. This is regardless of what other options could become available. However, the club will have to sell, and they are open to parting ways with Antoine Griezmann already.
As for Suarez, his contract is due to expire in 2021, but he confirmed that he has a clause in his contract which will trigger an extension if he plays in 60% of his side's games next season. Nonetheless, he has now explained that no discussions have taken place regarding a new deal with the club as of yet.
"No, I still don't know anything. At the moment I have a contract with the club and I am not thinking of anything other than fulfilling that contract for now. Then the time will surely come for the club and for me to sit down and talk because the relationship was always good."
