Social Media Roundup: How Juventus Players Are Doing During Football Postponement

As the first of many a weekend without football passes us by, it's fair to say that most of us have gone slightly silly already.

Maybe you've taken up knitting, or streamed a gazillion episodes of Friends, or simply just gone in to hibernation mode until football returns to our screens. No matter what you've done, it's safe to assume you're not alone. Well, not spiritually alone. You should probably be physically alone.

But despite how weird a weekend without the dulcet tones of Gary Neville feels to us, imagine what it's like for a professional footballer - although the huge houses, fast cars and indoor swimming pools surely must ease the blow.

Juventus' stars haven't completely gone off the grid just yet, with a number of them keeping us up to date with their progress. Cristiano Ronaldo uploaded a heartfelt message to Twitter during this difficult period, imploring people to follow the advice given by the World Health Organization, and thanking those who are fighting the virus.

However, there is no rest for Paulo Dybala, who's been in the gym readying himself for the return of football - whenever the hell that will be.

Douglas Costa has been busy thanks to his dog, who has kept better tabs on the Brazilian than a number of Serie A defences since his move to Turin.

About time Brescia signed him up.

Sami Khedira appears to be using his time behind closed doors wisely by learning the piano.

The German offers us his rather stripped back version of John Legend's 'All of Me', but he still has quite some way to go before being labelled a maestro.

Just in case football has been cancelled forever, Matthijs De Ligt has decided to take up table tennis to pursue a career in sport. The Dutch defender certainly had girlfriend Annekee Molenaar on the ropes, but he's not quite ready for the Olympics just yet.

And, to finish off, there's some uplifting news as Daniele Rugani - who tested positive for the coronavirus - reassures us that he's feeling much better.
