Chelsea & Real Madrid Assessing Mauro Icardi Transfer - PSG Yet to Agree Permanent Deal

Chelsea, Real Madrid and Juventus are all keeping tabs on Mauro Icardi's future as he nears the end of a season-long loan move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Argentina international has scored 19 goals in 28 games since moving to the Parc des Princes from Inter, with PSG's sporting director Leonardo desperate to activate their option to buy at the end of the season.
But FcIN suggests Icardi doesn't actually want to join PSG on a permanent basis and the 27-year-old 'wouldn’t mind' returning to Italy, although his parent club Inter are still set on selling him this summer.
Even though PSG have an option to buy, Icardi still needs to give the green light to a move that FcIN suggests might not happen - a similar situation to Mohamed Salah, who ended up joining Roma after a spell on loan at Fiorentina.
Chelsea, Real Madrid and Juventus are all mentioned as potential suitors for Icardi at the end of the season, with all three clubs keeping a close eye on how this story unfolds for any 'possible developments'.
Chelsea have struggled with their attacking options this season as they look to provide competition for Tammy Abraham, with both Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud appearing to be surplus to requirements for Frank Lampard.
Real Madrid and Juventus are also looking for alternatives to their ageing strikers, and Icardi is deemed to be a viable option for both clubs as they consider replacing Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuaín respectively.
Even Icardi's parent club Inter might be forced to change their stance on selling him at the end of the season, as Barcelona have been watching Lautaro Martínez very closely with a view of making a move this summer.
They do, however, have Romelu Lukaku firing on all cylinders, and may be able to persuade Martinez to stay and help Antonio Conte build Inter into consistent challengers both domestically and in Europe.
