Borussia Dortmund have joined a host of Premier League sides in the race to sign highly-rated Club Brugge forward Emmanuel Dennis, with Jadon Sancho consistently linked with a move away from the club.
Dennis has made 30 appearances in all competitions for the Belgian side this season, finding the net on eight occasions, while he has also provided two assists.
Most notably, he bagged a brace against Real Madrid in the Champions League earlier this campaign at the Santiago Bernabeu, with his side eventually drawing 2-2.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a number of sides, with Newcastle even making an offer to sign him in January. Belgian outlet HLN are now reporting that Borussia Dortmund have joined Premier League club's Newcastle, Brighton, Sheffield United and Watford in the race for his signature. Elsewhere, AS Monaco and Sampdoria are also keen.
The report notes that the Bundesliga side have been in attendance to watch Dennis in action for the 'last few weeks'. Most recently, a scout watched the Nigeria international on Wednesday as Brugge overcame S.V. Zulte Waregem 2-1.
Dennis crossed paths with Sancho in Dubai recently and the report claims that the Brugge man, who 'knows' about Dortmund's interest in his services, will have spoken to the England international about the interest in him.
Sancho has been in sensational form for BVB this campaign, having found the net 15 times in 29 games in all competitions, while he has also registered a staggering tally of 17 assists. His stunning performances have seen him linked with a whole host of top European sides, including Chelsea and Manchester United among others.
Despite the interest, a source recently told 90min that Dortmund are in no hurry to sell the 19-year-old, with the club anticipating that his value could skyrocket after Euro 2020.
It remains to be seen where Sancho will be playing his football next season, but Dortmund are keeping a 'close eye' on Dennis, who could be available for around €25m.
