Napoli will aim to record their fourth consecutive win in all competitions when they host Serie A strugglers Lecce on Sunday afternoon.

A much-needed and entertaining 4-2 win at Sampdoria followed a big 2-1 victory over league leaders Juventus to leave Napoli within three points of sixth place ahead the weekend, but they remain nine points off Atalanta in fourth.

Team News

Napoli don't have many injuries to contend with, other than defenders Kévin Malcuit and Faouzi Ghoulam, who both remain out. Midfielder Eljif Elmas will be unavailable due to suspension, but Kalidou Koulibaly and Allan have both recovered from their knocks and should start.

Lecce haven't been so lucky with injuries. The trio of Gabriel, Panagiotis Tachtisidis and Diego Farias have been ruled out, while Khouma Babacar is a doubt after missing the previous game. Biagio Meccariello is dealing with an undisclosed injury and will likely play no part on Sunday.

Predicted Lineups

NapoliMeret; Di Lorenzo, Manolas, Koulibaly, Rui; Allan, Demme, Zielinski; Callejon, Milik, Insigne.
LecceVigorito; Rispoli, Rossettini, Lucioni, Donati; Majer, Deiola, Barak; Saponara; Lapadula, Falco.

Head to Head Record

Napoli stormed to a 4-1 victory when the two sides met in September as Fernando Llorente bagged a brace alongside strikes from Lorenzo Insigne and Fabian Ruiz. Lecce have only won once against Napoli in their last eight meetings, and that came back in May 2011.

The home side have won the last four encounters when they have hosted I Giallorossi, and three of these wins also saw them keep clean sheets.

Recent Form

Napoli have been in good form in recent weeks, with a win over Lazio in the Coppa Italia followed by an impressive 2-1 victory over Serie A leaders Juventus. Their last game saw them defeat Sampdoria 4-2 to continue their winning streak.

Despite struggling over the course of the season, Lecce enjoyed a stellar 4-0 victory at home against Torino in their most recent fixture. The win was their first since November and snapped a seven game winless run.

Here's how both sides have fared in their last five matches.

Sampdoria 2-4 Napoli (3/2)Lecce 4-0 Torino (2/2)
Napoli 2-1 Juventus (26/1)Verona 3-0 Lecce (26/1)
Napoli 1-0 Lazio (21/1)Lecce 1-1 Inter (19/1)
Napoli 0-2 Fiorentina (18/1)Parma 2-0 Lecce (13/1)
Napoli 2-0 Perugia (14/1)Lecce 0-1 Udinese (6/1)

Despite Lecce picking up a dominant win in their last game, Napoli should be considered the favourites to win comfortably at home.

The home side have a strong head to head record against their opponents, winning the last four encounters played in Naples. A worrying statistic for I Giallorossi is that they have failed to have scored in their last three away games, which does not bode well for this upcoming fixture.

Gennaro Gattuso's side should add their fourth consecutive win in all competitions and see them continue to push higher up the table, as they look to retain a place in the Champions League next season.

Prediction: Napoli 2-0 Lecce
