Moussa Dembélé has been widely linked to Chelsea this month, but the Blues now face competition from an array of Premier League rivals for his signature.

The Daily Mail report that scouts from Manchester United, Manchester City, Newcastle and West Ham were all in attendance to cast their eyes over the attacker as Lyon beat Bordeaux 2-1 on Saturday. Dembélé scored the winner on the night, adding further incentive for each of these clubs to deepen their interest.

The 23-year-old has made 18 league appearances this season, scoring ten goals. Netting once every 144 minutes, it is clear to see why he has gathered such strong interest.

90min previously revealed Dembele will not leave Lyon this month, with the French side determined to fend off all offers and keep hold of their key man. They are however weighing up moves for Tino Kadewere and Karl Toko Ekambi as potential replacements.

Chelsea remain Dembélé's most likely destination as they look to add depth to their attack, and manager Frank Lampard confirmed that he's interested in attacking reinforcements before Saturday's 3-0 victory over Burnley.

"He’s a player I know and the club know but I’m surprised to see his name pop up so regularly when it’s not popping up in my conversations so regularly. There’s quite a few players in the last week that I could say the same about.

"We’re looking to strengthen in high areas and with goalscorers because it’s where we’ve been found pretty short in home games recently but they’re hard to find and I’ll only want to go that way if we know we’re improving the squad that we have already."

Olivier Giroud

90min previously disclosed that any incomings in attack would likely have repercussions for out-of-favour target man Olivier Giroud, who has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent weeks.

The ex-Arsenal man has only made seven appearances in all competitions this season, and his only goal came in the UEFA Super Cup.
