Despite these quotes seemingly suggesting that he will be departing PSG in the summer, a member of Neymar's team of representatives has claimed that he is in fact open to extending his contract with the Parisians past its current 2022 expiration date.
“[Neymar] is happy like he hasn’t been for a really long time… [An extension] is possible if PSG gets the results and wins. Because Neymar wants to win.”
These claims corroborate reports from earlier in the month that suggested that Neymar would be interested in remaining a PSG player if they could secure Champions League success.
