Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that their one-off special addition kit which celebrated their 110th anniversary sold out within two and a half hours of going on sale.
Die Schwarzgelben wore their all-black kit during a 5-0 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf, where Marco Reus and Jadon Sancho scored two goals each, while Thorgan Hazard's strike saw him become the Bundesliga's all-time leading goalscorer from Belgium.
After their home win against Düsseldorf, Borussia Dortmund confirmed that the new kit had sensationally completely sold out within hours of going on sale.
They also did a giveaway on their official Twitter page, with over 17,000 people taking part in the social media competition.
One fan instantly took to eBay to auction off the one-off shirt, setting a buy now price of €1,909 - the year that Borussia Dortmund were founded.
"The black kit is the best I've ever worn," Sancho, who scored twice and picked up an assist, said about the one-off kit, via bundesliga.com. "Maybe we should keep playing in it."
Their 5-0 win on Saturday has seen Borussia Dortmund leapfrog Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga table and into third place, behind just RB Leipzig and league leaders Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The Bundesliga's top two both picked up wins on matchday 14, with Timo Werner netting for the 15th time this season to keep him just behind Robert Lewandowski in the race to win the top goalscorer award in Germany - the Torjägerkanone.
For Lewandowski's Bayern Munich, the Rekordmeister lost back-to-back league games for the first time since October last year after two goals from Mönchengladbach full-back Ramy Bensebaini at Borussia-Park.
Bayern Munich are sitting in seventh place in the Bundesliga table - behind the likes of Bayer Leverkusen and SC Freiburg.
