What a big old weekend of football we've got coming up!
Let's assume you haven't got a sesh on the town lined up for Friday night. Why not stay in and watch Antonio Conte's Serie A title challengers Inter entertain a free-flowing Roma?
Wanna see if Manchester United can follow up their win against Tottenham with a positive result against rivals Manchester City on Saturday? Of course you do!
So much to get through, and we haven't even mentioned Borussia Monchengladbach vs Bayern Munich or Lazio vs Juventus!
Let's jump into it.
Inter vs Roma
Friday 6/12 - 19:45
This ought to be a really entertaining game. While there's definitely the chance it could peter out to a 0-0 draw or 1-0 Inter win, the attacking quality that'll be on display promises great things.
Romelu Lukaku is second only to Ciro Immobile in the Serie A scoring stakes, while Lautaro Martinez's performances in recent weeks have been nothing short on majestic. The Edin Dzeko-led Roma attack also has its strengths, with Nicolo Zaniolo and Justin Kluivert also capable of doing damage.
However, Inter's defence should ensure they don't ship too many on Friday night, and their forwards have enough to get them over the line and establish a four point lead over Juventus, who play on Saturday.
General Consensus: Inter Win
Everton vs Chelsea
Saturday 7/12 - 12:30
This is a tough one to call, mainly because of the threat of that 'new manager bounce' for Everton, and Chelsea's insistence on making heavy weather of every single match they play of late.
It should be entertaining - given that neither side seems capable of keeping a clean sheet - and there should be goals, with Richarlison and Tammy Abraham on form up top for their respective sides.
However, it just feels like this game will come a bit too soon for Duncan Ferguson and Everton, with the former Toffee afforded just one full day with the squad following Marco Silva's sacking. Expecting a win for a Chelsea side who travel well.
General Consensus: Chelsea Win
Borussia Monchengladbach vs Bayern Munich
Saturday 7/12 - 14:30
It's the champions vs the challengers in the Bundesliga, and just as it seems every year, Bayern will take a cruel blow that'll make everyone think their crown is slipping.
Marco Rose has made Monchengladbach one of Europe's most entertaining sides this season, with the likes of Breel Embolo, Marcus Thuram and Alassane Plea all impressing up top.
The race for the title in Germany is so tight that, even though Monchengladbach lead the way, they need a statement win to cement their place as favourites at this stage, and I think they'll come up with one.
General Consensus: No Consensus, Disagreement in 90min Towers, Punches Thrown, Insults Mumbled
Bournemouth vs Liverpool
Saturday 7/12 - 15:00
Liverpool have won their last four against Bournemouth by an aggregate score of 14-0, which, to be fair, bodes well for the league leaders.
The cherry on top for Klopp et al is that the Cherries are in dismal form and have lost four on the spin. Oh and Harry Wilson won't be available against his parent club.
However, with Liverpool keeping a wary eye on the all-important Salzburg game mid-week and Fabinho and Joel Matip still missing, it may not be a total rout...
General Consensus: Liverpool Win
Manchester City vs Manchester United
Saturday 7/12 - 17:30
Ah, this should be great fun. Let's hope, for the neutral's sake, that United can match the output they put in against Tottenham on Wednesday for the Manchester derby on Saturday.
City bounced back from two successive draws with an emphatic win at Burnley, but if United can manage to put them under a bit of pressure, their defence may buckle enough for the visitors to grab a goal.
That being said, this should be straightforward enough for Pep Guardiola's side. Gabriel Jesus got among the goals on Wednesday and will fancy his chance of getting a few at the Etihad on Saturday.
General Consensus: Manchester City Win
Lazio vs Juventus
Saturday 7/12 - 19:45
At this very moment in time, Lazio are the in-form team in Serie A and have the best striker in Serie A firing on all cylinders.
Expect Ciro Immobile to score at least a brace, and expect a Juventus team led by an out-of-form, lazy, and generally incompetent Cristiano Ronaldo to be unable to create many chances in a hostile Stadio Olimpico.
General Consensus: Juventus Win
Aston Villa vs Leicester
Sunday 8/12 - 14:00
This should be a really entertaining game. Villa have started to show their teeth in recent week, with a win against Newcastle and a draw at Manchester United displaying their attacking quality.
They face a real test on Sunday though, with Leicester - who have won seven league games on the bounce - coming to Villa Park.
That winning streak may come to an end on Sunday, mind. Jack Grealish has been in inspiring form and may just have enough creativity to carve out a few openings for the home side. Don't be surprised if the Foxes leave with all three points, though.
General Consensus: Leicester Win
West Ham vs Arsenal
Monday 9/12 - 20:00
The Premier League weekend is rounded off by a game that, usually, you’d be looking forward to as a supporter of each club.
But it’s a pretty miserable time to be a West Ham fan right now - recent victory over Chelsea aside - and it’s an even more miserable time to be an Arsenal follower, given the club are on their longest winless streak since 1977 (nine games, incase you didn’t know).
So we all know what’s coming at the London Stadium - either a woeful game lacking any quality whatsoever, or an absolute goal fest that highlights just how bad each team are defensively. Let’s hope it is the latter.
