Jose Mourinho has only been in charge of Tottenham for three games but he has revealed that he is 'in love' with forward Son Heung-min.
Son has been a big part of Mourinho's early success since taking the reins and the Portuguese revealed his huge admiration for the South Korean star.
Tottenham's number seven was named the Asian Player of the Year for the third year in a row on Monday, and Mourinho praised the forward ahead of Tottenham's clash with Manchester United, even declaring his love for the South Korean.
"I want to congratulate Son, third time in a row Asian player of the year." Mourinho said.
"I am in love with that guy, so I imagine the people that are here with him four or five years…fantastic boy.”
Mourinho currently has a 100% record since taking over from Mauricio Pochettino having recorded back-to-back 3-2 Premier League wins over West Ham and Bournemouth, and a 4-2 win over Olympiacos in the Champions League.
During this time, Son has started every game scoring the first goal of the Mourinho era with a strike against West Ham. He's quickly becoming one of Mourinho's favourite players at Spurs along with the likes of Serge Aurier, Dele Alli and Eric Dier.
For Spurs, this season, Son has already bagged himself nine goals in all competitions and is well on his way to recording his best season in North London.
Under Mourinho's tutelage, Son can go from strength to strength and get even better as Spurs look to qualify for the Champions League. They've climbed from 14th spot in the league all the way to fifth since Mourinho took over.
The Portuguese will be hoping this run of wins continues as he returns to Old Trafford to face former club Manchester United on Wednesday night. There is no doubt that Son will continue to be a huge part in this Tottenham team, especially after Mourinho declared his love for him.
