Antoine Griezmann has said he and fellow Barcelona forwards Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are 'beginning to learn' how to function as a trident, while admitting that his dribbling skills leave a lot to be desired.

The prospect of Griezmann, Messi and Suarez joining forces - three of the most prolific strikers in world football over the past few seasons - was a mouthwatering one when Griezmann signed from Atlético in the summer, but Ernesto Valverde has since struggled to maintain a balance to the side with his three stars in it.

Though they have already netted 21 goals between them as Barca top La Liga and their Champions League group, there have been some concerns at a perceived lack of cohesion between the three mega-stars - although Griezmann insists it will come with time.

"I'm really shy and I don't feel comfortable going up and talking to people. I'm not someone who starts a conversation but Luis, Leo and I are beginning to learn about each other," he said, via SPORT, after all three started the 2-1 win over Leganes. "We've already had dinner together.

"Our relationship can only improve over time. And it's obvious that what happens on the pitch will only help us feel more comfortable amongst one another."

Griezmann went on, explaining the parallels between the style of play at Barcelona and Real Sociedad, where he came through before joining Atléti in 2014.

"They don't look at your height or whether you're fast or not. The only thing that matters is your talent and what you can do with the ball at your feet.

"I believe it was good for me that I started there [Sociedad]. I learnt a lot about keeping ahold of the ball and attacking football."

Attacking football is one thing, but dribbling is another, it seems.

"I don't know how to dribble, I like to take one or two touches, at pace," he admitted via the Mail.

"I like that the ball comes out cleanly and to shoot at goal."
