Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus Future May Depend on European Success With Man Utd Showing Interest

Reports have surfaced suggesting that Cristiano Ronaldo is questioning his future at Juventus, and Manchester United may sensationally try to lure the Portuguese star back to the Premier League.
Ronaldo has struggled with a knee injury in recent weeks, but his Juventus side sit top of Serie A and have already qualified for the next round of the Champions League with two games to spare.
Football journalist Eduardo Inda raised eyebrows on Spanish television show 'El Chiringuito', when he claimed that despite the Bianconeri's convincing start to the new campaign, Ronaldo 'could leave Juventus at the end of the season', as reported by the Daily Star.
“Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Juventus at the end of the current season if they do not win the Champions League.
“He went to Turin to try and win his third Champions League with a different club but things are getting complicated.”
Inda then justified his suspicions by suggesting that Juve are in the market for two of football's biggest superstars, which would pave the way for a Ronaldo exit.
“Juventus want to sign (Paul) Pogba and (Kylian) Mbappé. I think it is going to be difficult for them, especially the second one.
“Due to the salary limits, if they want to sign these players they would have to allow for his (Ronaldo’s) exit from the club so it is becoming a very likely outcome.”
According to reports, the Red Devils are one of a number of clubs interested in securing the services of the 34-year-old, although with Man Utd set to miss out on Champions League football next season and it's unlikely that the ex-Real Madrid star would return to Old Trafford.
There have been no statements from either the club or player to allude to such rumours, and Ronaldo recently opened up over his bad reaction to being substituted against Milan, insisting that he 'tried to help Juventus by playing injured'.
"Everyone knows that I don't like to be substituted, but there was no problem in my gestures after the change. I tried to help Juventus by playing injured.
"No one likes to be replaced, but I understand it, because I wasn't well in those two games. I wasn't 100 per cent.”
