Wales Launch New adidas Home Kit Ahead of Azerbaijan & Hungary Fixtures
Wales have launched their simplistic new adidas home kit for the remainder of their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign and beyond, and there is a lot to take in despite the seemingly straightforward look.
The new shirt is the first to feature the new, stripped-back crest, which foregoes the detail of the previous emblem in favour of a more modern, sharper design.
There is a notable change in the general colour scheme, as while the shirt maintains the solid red traditionally sported by Wales' national teams, the white trim is swapped out for yellow adidas stripes, with hints of green and white - in line with the national flag - on the sleeves.

According to the Welsh FA's announcement of the kit, the red and yellow colour palette is a reference to the historically significant shield of Owain Glyndŵr, while the green on the sleeves comes as a nod to the 'Red Wall' motif.
Altogether, it makes up one of the most impressive kits in the recent batch of launches, and Ryan Giggs will be hoping to show it off to the world at the Euro 2020 finals when they get underway in the summer.
As it stands, the Dragons' men's team have their work cut out for them if they are to do so, as they sit four points from second-placed Hungary with two matches remaining - albeit with a game in hand over Marco Rossi's side.

Slovakia are also in contention to qualify for the tightly-contested group, so Wales will know that two wins are necessary against Azerbaijan and Hungary in their final matches if they are to stand any chance of making it through.
In the event of six points being attained, they would also require Slovakia to drop points in one of their final two matches - but there is a strong chance of that given that the first of their two comes away to group leaders Croatia.
Wales fought out an admirable point with the World Cup finalists thanks to Gareth Bale's equaliser last time out, and will know another couple of performances like that in their new colours will put them in with a serious shout of joining England in the hat.
