Wolverhampton Wanderers are believed to be in pole position to sign Benfica wonderkid
The 19-year-old has been lighting up the Portuguese top tier with some sensational performances this season, scoring seven goals and making three assists. His performance against Nacional last Sunday was particularly impressive, as his mesmerising midfield performance - in which he both scored and provided an assist - saw his side win 10-0.
Real Madrid have reportedly been scouting the player since he was 17, while United are also believed to have a long-standing interest in the starlet. A report last month also claimed that Liverpool had seen a €70m bid for the teenager rejected by Benfica.
However, according to the Mirror, Wolves' close relationship with the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, will give them a strong advantage over their rivals should they wish to sign the prodigious youngster.
Of course, Félix may well jump at the chance to join an elite side if given the chance. While he may not get the regular first team football that Wolves could provide, the thrill of playing at Old Trafford or the Bernabéu may prove too hard to resist. However, if Santo's side could well qualify for the Europa League, which could prove enough to entice the midfielder.
Wolves face Newcastle United on Monday evening, and they'll be looking to win their fourth Premier League match on the trot.
The Magpies will be desperate for a win, given their close proximity to the relegation zone, and are likely to test their oppositions' attacking abilities with a typically resolute defensive performance.
