Crystal Palace vs Fulham: Claudio Ranieri's Best Available Cottagers Lineup

Fulham return to league action at Selhurst Park, when they face Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

The Cottagers come to south London off the back of their first league win in five games, as they came from behind to beat Brighton 4-2 at Craven Cottage last Tuesday.

Claudio Ranieri is without Alfie Mawson and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa who are out injured.

Here's a look at the best potential Fulham lineup to face Crystal Palace on Saturday.

1. Goalkeeper and Defenders

Sergio Rico (GK) - Rico has established himself as Fulham's number one, having made 18 appearances this season. The Spanish goalkeeper will certainly start on Saturday, as he aims to keep just his third clean sheet in the Premier League this season.

Tim Ream (CB) - Ream is the first of three centre backs that Ranieri looks likely to start at Selhurst Park, as he has done all season. The 31-year-old American has made 17 appearances this season, and looks likely to make it 18 on Saturday.

Maxime Le Marchand (CB) - Le Marchand has made 20 appearances this season in defence, since making a summer move to Craven Cottage from Nice. He also has one assist to his name, but is yet to score his first Fulham goal.

Denis Odoi (CB) - Odoi will make up Fulham's defence for the trip to Crystal Palace, where he will make his 26th appearance of the season. The 30-year-old has one goal and one assist this season, though must be cautious as he is one booking away from a one-match suspension.

2. Midfielders

Cyrus Christie (RM) - Christie will make up Ranieri's midfield against the Eagles, where he will make his 22nd appearance of the season. The 26-year-old has scored just once for the Cottagers this season, but will be eager to add to his goal tally on Saturday.

Jean Michael Seri (CM) - Seri will play in a two man central midfield against Crystal Palace, having played almost every game this season for Fulham. He has played 26 times since joining from Nice, regularly sitting at the heart of midfield.

Calum Chambers (CM) - Partnering Seri in the centre of midfield will be Calum Chambers, who hopes to build on from Tuesday's performance. Chambers scored the first of Fulham's four goals against Brighton, as he started their 4-2 comeback win at Craven Cottage.

Joe Byran (LM) - Byran is likely to start on Saturday in a left midfield position, as he gets set for his 16th appearance this season. He has featured quite a lot since joining from Bristol City, and will adapt well out wide away from his usual left-back position.

3. Forwards

Ryan Babel (RW) - New signing Babel will make up the Fulham front three against Crystal Palace, after joining from Besiktas in January. He already has two assists in his opening two appearances, and is searching for his first goal in a Fulham shirt in Saturday's London derby.

Aleksandar Mitrovic (ST) - Mitrovic was influential in Fulham's comeback win over Brighton, as he scored twice to help the Cottagers to a huge win. He is their top goalscorer this season, with ten goals and two assists in his 26 appearances.

Andre Schurrle (LW) - As he continues to find his feet upon his return to west London, Schurrle is beginning to hit his stride under Ranieri. The German World Cup winner has six goals in 22 appearances, and will be aiming to score his seventh at Selhurst Park.
