Picking the Best Potential Everton Lineup to Face Watford in the Premier League on Monday

Everton return to Premier League action on Monday night, when they welcome Watford to Goodison Park.

The Toffees come off the back of a hard-fought draw after they drew 1-1 with Newcastle last Wednesday. They were unlucky not to take all three points, but were denied by a strong defensive performance from the visitors.

Marco Silva has a full strength squad for Monday's Premier League clash, as he is looking forward to welcoming his old side to Goodison Park. Former Watford player Richarlison will also be eager for a result, after joining from the Hornets in the summer.

Here's our pick for Marco Silva's strongest potential Everton lineup for the visit of Watford.

1. Goalkeeper and Defenders

Jordan Pickford (GK) - After a horrible mistake in the Merseyside derby, Pickford is still looking to redeem himself. Despite conceding once he had little to do against Newcastle, and will be hoping to claim his fifth clean sheet of the season on Monday.

Seamus Coleman (RB) - The Irishman will almost definitely feature, as he has done regularly this season. Coleman has made 11 appearances at right back, and will hope to net only his second goal of the season.

Yerry Mina (CB) - Another fantastic summer signing, Mina looks likely to make his fifth start in a row. A foot injury kept him out for the start of the season, but since then the Colombian has been solid in defence for Everton.

Michael Keane (CB) - Keane has played 13 times this season, registering a goal and two assists. However he is yet to form a partnership with Mina amid competition from Kurt Zouma, but nevertheless looks likely to start on Monday.

Lucas Digne (LB) - Since joining in the summer from Barcelona, Digne has been outstanding. He has made 14 appearances this season, and has two assists since his move to Goodison Park.

2. Midfielders

Andre Gomes (CM) - Although the Portuguese has only made seven appearances since joining from Barcelona, he has been key for the Toffees. A muscle injury kept him sidelined until October, but Gomes is likely to start against Watford.

Idrissa Gueye (CM) - The Senegalese midfielder will make up Everton’s defensive partnership on Monday, alongside Gomes. Gueye has made 14 appearances this season, and will be at the heart of every move against Watford.

Theo Walcott (RM) - Walcott is one of the few Everton players to feature in every Premier League game this season. The English winger has been key this season, with three goals and two assists in his debut season at Goodison Park.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (CAM) - Alongside Richarlison, the Icelandic playmaker is Everton’s joint top scorer in all competitions this season with seven goals. Sigurdsson was their star man in the draw against Newcastle, and will be crucial if Everton want to get a result on Monday.

Bernard (LM) - Marco Silva will likely recall the Brazilian to his lineup on Monday, coming in for Ademola Lookman. Bernard will make his 14th appearance of the season, as he adds a touch of pace and flair to the Toffees team.

3. Forward

Richarlison (ST) - Monday will be the first time Richarlison faces off against his former club since leaving in the summer. The Brazilian was a key part of Watford's team and plays the same role for Everton, where he will likely start up front.

Richarlison has been great this season, scoring seven goals in 14 appearances. He will be hoping to score past his former side on Monday, and maintain his great start to life at Goodison Park.
