Picking the Best Potential Juventus Lineup to Face Inter in Serie A on Friday

Juventus prepare for the visit of rivals Inter on Friday at the Allianz Stadium as they hope to continue their record setting start to a Serie A season.

The Bianconeri were impressive in their last game away to Fiorentina as Massimiliano Allegri saw his team ease to a 3-0 win. After winning 14 out of their opening 15 games, Juventus now sit eight points clear at the top of the league and 11 points clear of their weekend opponents.

Sami Khedira should be Juventus's only absence on Friday as Alex Sandro and Emre Can should both return to the matchday squad after injuries kept them out last weekend.

Here is how Juventus could line up at the Allianz Stadium against Inter.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Wojciech Szczęsny (GK): The Polish goalkeeper has played all but one Serie A this campaign for the Bianconeri, keeping nine clean sheets in 17 appearances in all competitions.

João Cancelo (RB): The Portuguese full-back has been a staple in the side since his move this summer and should keep his place ahead of this week's clash against his former club.

Leonardo Bonucci (CB): The Bianconeri's defence has only improved this season with the return of the Italian defender. His team lead the league this season in fewest goals conceded after only allowing eight in fourteen games.

Giorgio Chiellini (CB): The veteran Italian has been a terrific servant for club and country. He recently made his 100th appearance for the Azzurri, and has played the entirety of every match he has started, helping his side keep seven clean sheets.

Alex Sandro (LB): The Brazilian full-back has been instrumental to his team this season, especially going forward. If fit he should play ahead of Mattia De Sciglio as he is clearly Allegri's favoured choice.

2. Midfielders

Rodrigo Bentancur (CM): Sami Khedira's ankle injury means that Bentancur will remain in the starting lineup in his absence. The Uruguayan scored last week against Fiorentina as he looks to add goals to his game.

Miralem Pjanić (CDM): The Bosnian has been utilised in the 'regista' role this season and he has shown he is able to control play and dictate games.

Blaise Matuidi (CM): The Frenchman has become integral to his team this season and has earned the affection of his manager and the fans with his tireless effort.

3. Forwards

Paulo Dybala (RW): Dybala is enjoying a terrific season. He has already contributed to seven goals in 15 appearances, scoring six of them.

Mario Mandžukić (ST): The Croatian has been the one who has benefited most from Higuain's departure. Inter have only kept one clean sheet in their last five games which should be all the encouragement Mandzukic and his striking partners need.

Cristiano Ronaldo (LW): Ronaldo's nine goals in his first 13 games is a club best since Pietro Anastasi in 1968/69. After a tough start to life in Turin, Ronaldo now has ten goals and five assists in 15 games.
