Picking the Best Potential Juventus Lineup to Face Udinese on Saturday

Juventus take on Udinese at the Stadio Friuli on Saturday, as the Serie A holders look to continue their perfect start to the season.

The Old Lady have won their first seven games without breaking a sweat, and will be overwhelming favourites to defeat a struggling Udinese side, who currently sit in 14th place.

Manager Massimiliano Allegri will be keen to make it eight wins out of eight, so expect a strong lineup.

3. Goalkeepers & Defenders

Wojciech Szczesny (GK): The Polish goalkeeper has become a worthy successor to Gianluigi Buffon, and has grown into a fine shot-stopper since leaving Arsenal.

Joao Cancelo (RB): The Portuguese right-back left Inter for Juventus in the summer and has since has made six Serie A appearances for his new club.

Leonardo Bonucci (CB): The 31-year-old Italian international is slowly winning back the support of the Juve faithful, following his shock return from AC Milan.

Giorgio Chiellini (CB): A true Juventus legend and a real master of the art of defending. The 34-year-old has shown no signs of waning this season, and is the perfect partner to Bonucci.

Alex Sandro (LB): The Brazilian left-back has become one of the club's unsung heroes since signing for the Italian giants from Porto in 2015.

2. Midfielders

Emre Can (CM): The former Liverpool midfielder struggled to adjust to the differing pace of Italian football earlier in the season, but he's starting to find his feet and put in a great performance against Napoli last week.

Miralem Pjanic (CM): The 28-year-old midfielder has made a fantastic start to the season, and has been crucial to both the attack and defence. He has also contributed three goals across competitions thus far.

Blaise Matuidi (CM): The Frenchman arrived in Turin in 2017 and since then has made 38 appearances for the club, scoring five times.

Paulo Dybala (CAM): The Argentine midfielder scored an outstanding hat-trick against Young Boys in the Champions League and will be hoping to further increase his goal tally against Udinese.

1. Strikers

Mario Mandzukic (ST): One of the roughest strikers in the game, World Cup finalist Mandzukic will be making his 100th appearance for Juventus if he is picked for this weekend's match.

Cristiano Ronaldo (ST): Despite his on-going off the pitch allegations, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is still expected to start for the Serie A leaders.
