Picking the Best Potential Fulham Lineup to Face Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday

Fulham return to Premier League action when they travel to the Ethiad to face Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.

After a slow start which saw the Cottagers fall to two consecutive defeats, Slavisa Jokanovic's side got off the mark with an impressive victory against Burnley followed by an away draw against Brighton.

They'll be up against it against Pep Guardiola's side on Saturday but they would have been buoyed by their recent performances and will be hopeful of picking up a result.

Here's a look at how they could potentially line up.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Marcus Bettinelli (GK) - Bettinelli was surprisingly called back into the side to face Burnley and performed well enough to retain his place.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah (RB) - The Dutchman has impressed at right back for Fulham and he is a certainty to start.

Alfie Mawson (CB) - After making his debut against Brighton, Mawson will be expected to keep his place in the starting XI going forward.

Denis Odoi (CB) - Odoi was thrust into the side after serving a suspension picked up in the playoff final and he looks likely to continue partnering Mawson.

Joe Bryan (LB) - Maxime Le Marchand replaced Bryan against Brighton but never looked comfortable in an unfamiliar position, which could pave the way for a return to the side for the more conventional full back.

2. Midfielders

Jean Michael Seri (CM) - One of the standout performers in the Premier League so far, Seri has demonstrated exactly why he was a target for some of Europe's top teams this summer.

Kevin McDonald (CM) - A consistent figure in the centre of midfield, McDonald has started every game so far this season and is very likely to keep his place.

Andre Zambo Anguissa (CM) - Tom Cairney's injury means that Anguissa has had to step up to the plate to replace him as a part of the midfield trio.

3. Forwards

Andre Schurrle (RW) - The German has been very impressive during his first few matches for the Cottagers and looks to be in top form.

Aleksandar Mitrovic (ST) - The big Serb is in the form of his life at the moment and is the joint top scorer in the league with four goals to his name.

Luciano Vietto (LW) - Another early success story, Vietto will be desperate to notch his first goal of the season sooner rather than later.
