Picking the Best Potential Huddersfield Lineup to Face Everton on Saturday

Huddersfield travel to Goodison Park to face Everton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Terriers haven't the started the 2018/19 season too brightly and are yet to taste victory. They have picked up one point from three matches in the Premier League and they found themselves unceremoniously dumped out of the League Cup at the hands of Stoke in the week.

Here's how Huddersfield could line up in this one.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Jonas Lossl (GK) - The Danish keeper initially lost his place in the starting XI to Ben Hamer, but he's regained the number one spot following Hamer's recent injury.

Florent Hadergjonaj (RB) - Hadergjonaj has started all of Huddersfield's Premier League matches so far and he's likely to keep that run going.

Zanka (CB) - Zanka didn't feature for the Terriers when they were annihilated by Manchester City, highlighting how important he is to the side.

Christopher Schindler (CB) - Schindler needs to recapture the form he showed last year alongside Zanka to ensure that Huddersfield remain solid at the back.

Terrence Kongolo (LB) - The left-back returned to his favoured position against Cardiff after a poor performance in central defence against Manchester City and is likely to remain there.

2. Midfielders

Aaron Mooy (DM) - Jonathan Hogg's suspension will force Mooy to fill the vacant role in defensive midfield.

Phillip Billing (DM) - One of Huddersfield's brightest players so far this season, Billing will look to continue his decent run of form.

Alex Pritchard (AM) - The main beneficiary from Hogg's suspension, Pritchard will come into the side as the attacking influence in midfield.

Adama Diakhaby (RM) - The French winger started his first game last weekend and he should get the nod to start again.

Rajiv van la Parra (LM) - Didn't perform brilliantly against Cardiff, but with Ramadan Sobhi still fighting to get fit he's the most likely candidate to start.

3. Forward

Steve Mounie (ST) - Huddersfield's top scorer during the 2017/18 campaign hasn't got off to the flying start he enjoyed last year.

The Terriers look to Mounie to provide the goals, so he needs to start finding the net sharpish.
