Manchester United have been quick to strengthen their squad after last season’s campaign left them empty handed. With Brazilian midfielder Fred having arrived at Old Trafford along with Portuguese right-back Diogo Dalot, boss Jose Mourinho is ready to re-style his United team to try to close the gap of neighbours Manchester City.

With some fans anticipating a sensational return to the club by Cristiano Ronaldo, and rumours still circulating that Welsh wizard Gareth Bale could be in line for a big money mover to the Theatre of Dreams, Mourinho himself is understood to be ready to bring another former United player back to the club this summer.

It’s pretty safe to say that Wilfried Zaha’s last spell at Old Trafford was less than memorable after joining from Crystal Palace in January 2013 for just over £10M. Failure to break into the first-team saw him loaned back to The Eagles and to Cardiff City, but after finally returning to Selhurst Park on a permanent deal in February 2015, the 25-year-old’s performances last term have caught the eye of Mourinho, in a big way.

Indykaila sources in the North-West understand that only tentative enquiries have been made at this stage, but there are also strong reports coming out of Old Trafford that Zaha is seen as low-cost option to boost United’s attacking options.
