Transfer Deadline Day, live! Late signings galore, drama, intrigue, Andre Ayew, the Brazilian Theo Walcott and SO MUCH MORE!

Chris Deeley - @ThatChris1209 if you're into that - here to take you all the way through until the early hours of Thursday morning, after Jude spent the last six hours smashing out the day's early deals ALL OVER HERE and Scott took the morning HERE

01:00 - GOODBYE EVERYONE

Right! That's it from us at 90min Towers (by which I mean me - I've been in the office alone since about 10pm). Don't think there's anything more of major note to come in tonight, but if there is...well, I'll be back online in six hours.

Catch you then. A pleasure, as ever.

00:50 - DONE DEAL

It's just relentless, isn't it? Benik Afobe has headed back to Wolverhampton on loan from Bournemouth just two years after becoming the Cherries' record signing. For about £10m. Remember when that was a lot? Etc etc...

00:46 - DONE DEAL

Oh screw you.

00:45 - DEADLINE DAY'S BIGGEST

The day's biggest deals? Well, they're mostly the ones that happened much, much earlier.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang went to Arsenal for a club record feeOlivier Giroud went to Chelsea and Michy Batshuayi popped out on loan to Borussia Dortmund

FBL-ENG-PR-CHELSEA-BOURNEMOUTH

That wasn't all though. Oh, no. Spurs signed Lucas Moura for about £25mSwansea broke their transfer record to bring Andre Ayew back and Stoke paid £14m for Badou Ndiaye from Galatasaray

Oh, and Riyad Mahrez didn't sign for Manchester City. That seemed very important for a while.

00:30 - NOTHING IS HAPPENING

That's not a complaint. Sunderland and Celtic have both signed loan goalkeepers, but that's scraping the barrel even for this time of night. I mean, Celtic for crying out loud. I'll be around for a bit longer though - although it looks like I might log off earlier than the 3:45 that Adrien sodding Silva kept me up until back in August.

00:10 - DONE DEAL

Crystal Palace have finally completed the signing of Alexandar Sørloth from Midtjylland for an initial fee in the region of £9m, which is nice because I almost never have the chance to use the ø shortcut on my Macbook and I've been in the office for about 16 hours now. It's the little things.

He's on a four-and-a-half year deal.

00:07 - DONE DEAL

Former West Ham striker Ashley Fletcher has joined Sunderland on loan for the rest of the season as Chris Coleman looks to add attacking firepower to his Black Cats side.

The move comes just six months after Boro signed the 22-year-old for £6.5m, but a return of just one goal in 16 Championship appearances this season has seen him shipped out and down to a relegation battle.

23:57 - DONE DEAL

They've binned enough people off on loan, but Newcastle have just announced the signing of Slovakia international goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka on loan from Sparta Prague for the rest of the season.

Speaking to the club's website, the 29-year-old - who is eligible to start against Palace on the weekend - said: “I feel amazing. This is a big step in my career and also in my life. You can feel the energy of the people around the club. I will try to work hard, and show that I deserve to be here.”

23:54 - DONE DEAL

There it is! Fulham have completed a loan deal for Newcastle's Aleksandar Mitrovic, who looked dead set to join Anderlecht just a few hours ago. How time flies, eh?

The forward is just 23 years old and still looking to make a real mark in English football after a number of cameos at St James' Park. A stylish Fulham team might make Craven Cottage the place to be for him.

23:50 - DONE DEAL

Nottingham Forest have signed Jack Colback on a season-long loan from Newcastle and here's a fact for you - Jack Colback is actually 28 years old! I know! He looks about 17!

23:45 - DONE DEAL

Told you it was coming! Middlesbrough have completed the loan signing of Bosnian hard-man Mo Besic from Everton as Tony Pulis looks to add some bite to his playoff-chasing side.

Besic excited Everton fans with his hard work when he arrived but never really managed to nail down a starting spot - missing all of last season with an ACL injury. He's good. Possibly too good for the Championship.

23:41 - CHAMPIONSHIP INCOMINGS

We're not done yet, not by a long shot! Aleksandar Mitrovic - he of being constantly on aeroplanes today - is on the verge of having a loan move to Fulham confirmed, while Benik Afobe, Bournemouth's club record signing just two years ago, is heading back to Wolves.

23:36 - DONE DEAL

And Jordan Hugill's signed for West Ham! The 25-year-old moves from Preston on a four-and-a-half year deal thought to be worth in excess of £10m after the Championship side turned down an £8m move in the summer.

He's described as a 'physical' striker who plays well with his back to goal, so he's obviously going to set the London Stadium alight.

23:31 - DONE DEALS

Things are HAPPENING!

Andy King has left Leicester to join Swansea on loan for the rest of the season, presumably because they realised that being a Welsh team without a Welsh player was ridiculous.

That's not all though - Islam Slimani has ALSO left the Foxes on loan, joining Newcastle, while Fulham have signed Middlesbrough's Cyrus Christie on a three-and-a-half year deal worth up to £4m. This is the well-known *checks notes* 11:30pm rush that we were all waiting for.

23:30 - COMPLEX MCBURNING SENSATION RESOLVED

Ahh...that's better. Yes, Oli McBurnie has gone to BARNSLEY, not Sunderland as looked likely earlier in the evening. Glad we've got that all cleared up...

23:25 - DONE DEAL

A transfer! Middlesbrough have signed veteran defender Martin Cranie from Huddersfield for an undisclosed fee which could, frankly, be absolutely anything for all the info out there - but is probably around £1m or so after Boro were linked with a £1.5m deal in the summer.

And there are whispers that Mo Besic could be next...

23:10 - WATFORD RELEASE BEN WATSON

Well, it's not quite a transfer...but Watford have confirmed the release of veteran midfielder Ben Watson after three years at the club.

Watson played over 70 times for the club, but featured just once in the league this season - and will now be free to move on at his leisure.

23:00 - THE TRANSFER WINDOW IS SHUT. AND A DONE DEAL

Nice little double-whammy here, with THE TRANSFER WINDOW SLAMMING SHUT and Swansea signing youngster Jack Withers from Boston on an 18-month deal. How young? No idea, they haven't said and he's not the kind of lad who has a Wikipedia page. Let's say 'maybe 17'.

22:51 - DONE DEAL

Lazar Markovic is on the move again! After spells at Fenerbahce, Sporting CP and Hull, the Serbian forward has headed to Belgium to join Anderlecht until the end of the season, having failed to find a move in the summer. Not the best £20m-odd that Liverpool ever spent.

22:45 - DONE DEAL

15 minutes until the window closes, and Hull City have confirmed the signing of Harry Wilson from Liverpool, heading out to get some first team minutes and apparently turning down a move to League One high-flyers Wigan in favour of a Championship relegation battle.

22:38 - DEADLINE DAY RACISM ROW AND OTHER BUZZWORDS OH IT'S WEST HAM

Yeah, West Ham's director of transfers has admitted that he's got a policy not to add anymore African players to the squad - and added: "Erm, no reason. It’s nothing racist at all. It’s just sometimes they can have a bad attitude. We had problems with Sakho, with Diafra Sakho. We find that when they are not in the team they cause mayhem. It’s nothing against the African race at all."

That's so cartoonishly, absurdly racist that I'm struggling to do anything that isn't staring at my screen in disbelief.

22:31 - DONE DEAL

Barnsley have made a signing! And it's not just a loan from another English club! Christoph Knasmüllner joins from Admira Wacker on a two-and-a-half year deal, having hit 12 goals in 18 games this season...from midfield.

The fee hasn't been announced, but a figure just shy of £500,000 was being thrown around earlier in the week.

22:22 - AIR MITRO

He's coming, he's going, he's...everything's a bit of a mess, really. Half expecting him and a Newcastle rep to turn up at 90min Towers in a minute, offering six months of him for my takeaway leftovers.

Joke's on you, Mike Ashley. There's no leftovers. I ate it all.

22:20 - RETRACTION

Okay, I feel a bit bad now.

22:15 - STAT ATTACK

22:07 - DONE DEALS

Bolton are doing a double deal! Liverpool's Jon Flanagan looks to be on his way to Bolton for the rest of the season, heading out of the limelight after his assault conviction, and the club have confirmed the re-arrival of Reece Burke on loan from West Ham. A relegation battle awaits.

22:00 - DONE DEAL

Just as Scott Hogan starts to properly bang in the goals, Aston Villa have signed Lewis Grabban on loan for more striking depth! Steve Bruce's side are on a full-on promotion run right now, and if Grabban slots in nicely then automatic promotion can't be far away.

21:52 - LATE KO RESULTS

Tottenham 2-0 Manchester United

Stoke 0-0 Watford

Manchester City 3-0 West Brom

21:40 - EARLY KO RESULTS

Chelsea 0-3 Bournemouth

Everton 2-1 Leicester

Newcastle 1-1 Burnley

Southampton 1-1 Brighton

21:33 - 100 UP

Kevin de Bruyne has put City 2-0 up over West Brom, and Manchester City have scored their 100th goal in all competitions. One hundred. And it's January.

21:27 - DONE DEAL

The Meredith Corporation have bought Time Inc.! Alright so it's not technically football related, but

hang on

HAHAHAHAHAH MAROUANE FELLAINI HAS BEEN SUBBED OFF SEVEN MINUTES AFTER HE WAS SUBBED ON. AND I'M REALLY NOT SURE HE'S INJURED.

21:22 - NEWS HAS STOPPED HAPPENING

This is getting a little bit...nothingy. We might be waiting on full time here for anything more to happen.

21:15 - A CLUB HAVE DONE A FUNNY ANNOUNCEMENT VIDEO

It's in Spanish, but it's good. Very, very good.

21:10 - CHELSEA ARE 3-0 DOWN TO BOURNEMOUTH

Nathan Ake has scored Bournemouth's THIRD GOAL against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and Olivier Giroud must be concerned that some kind of curse has followed him from the Emirates.

21:04 - AYEW DETAILS

It's a big deal for Ayew too - becoming the Swans' club record signing - we think for around £18m - and putting pen to paper on a deal which keeps him at the Liberty until 2021. He'll be their new number 19.

21:00 - DONE DEAL

Andre Ayew is back in South Wales, and now there are twice as many chances for 'Ayew Kidding?' headlines in the South Wales Argus!

Details as they come...

20:58 - DONE DEAL

Ipswich have given Mustapha Carayol the biggest contract in history. Not in terms of money, like, but look at the size of that file! He's come over from Nottingham Forest.

20:51 - DONE DEAL!

Stoke have done a large signing! Badou Ndaiye has arrived from Galatasaray for €16m and the club have actually been up front about the fee! That's nice of them.

The 27-year-old was looking at a degree in law all the way up to the age of 20, and was even a year into a law degree until he pinged off to Norway to try his hand at professional football. Fair to say it's gone pretty well!

20:51 - ORNSTEINING

Hang on, we're going to expand on this in a second because...

20:48 - DONE DEAL

Carlisle have done another signing! It's Fleetwood Town striker Ashley Nadesan, who has...played one minute of Football League football. Ever. In his life.

It's 12 months to the day that we sold Charlie Wyke to Bradford for £250,000. He's scored 18 League One goals since then. I miss him.

20:40 - TROUBLE FOR CITY

Leroy Sane out for six to eight weeks, and now David Silva has been forced off. I can't believe I'm typing these words, but...are City going to regret not signing Riyad Mahrez?

They're 1-0 up through Fernandinho, by the way. And yes, De Bruyne made it.

20:28 - PHIL JONES HAS PEAKED

Phil Jones has done a very large own goal and Spurs are 2-0 up and oh my goodness me, tonight's FanVoice from our very own Scott Saunders is going to be very very watchable indeed.

20:24 - THEO WALCOTT IS SCORING ALL OF THE GOALS IN THE WORLD

He's got two goals and Everton are two up on Leicester! The defending has not been great.

20:20 - ALL QUIET...OFF THE PITCH

Not too much going on while the games are in their interesting first half...bits. But Newcastle have had a penalty saved at St James' Park, Nick Pope denying Joselu. Fantasy points there...

20:00 - HAHAHAHHAHAHAH SPURS ARE 1-0 UP ON UNITED IN 11 SECONDS

Possibly the second fastest goal in Premier League history, behind Ledley King. United fail to deal with a ball over the top - specifically, Ashley Young fails to deal with a ball over the top - and Christian Eriksen slots home left-footed. WHAT.

Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United - Premier League

19:58 - GLENNJAMIN MURRAY HAS DONE A GOAL

Brighton lead Southampton 1-0, and things are grim, grim, grim at St Mary's.

19:49 - DONE DEAL

Chris Martin has moved to Reading! He's gone from Derby County on his second loan move in two seasons, having spent 2016/17 at Fulham. Turns out living in and around London is better than living in Derby.

He's made 341 league appearances in his career and, somehow, is only 29 years old. How is he only 29 years old!?

19:47 - NEWCASTLE FAN STATEMENT

Well, a statement of sorts - fans holding up massive banners reading "Don't ever give up on your club. Keep supporting it. It's your club and trust me, one day you will get your club back and it will be everything you wanted it to be. Newcastle United is bigger than anyone. It hurts, I know. But just keep going. He is only one man. We are a city. A whole population. Trust me."

19:40 - DONE DEAL

Carlisle have flogged Sam Cosgrove to Aberdeen for an undisclosed fee, probably around £25,000. I do not even know what my nonsense football club are doing any more, but we need strikers you weird board arjwliasugheirugsha;irgusharealsiguhbrse

19:37 - DONE DEAL

AS Roma couldn't get Daley Blind in to fill in at left-back for them, so they've gone and plucked 23-year-old Argentina international Jonathan Silva from Sporting CP instead.

He's younger (23) and cheaper (around €6m), but he's nowhere near as good looking as the Dutchman. Swings and roundabouts, eh?

19:33 - CONCERNING MCBURNING SENSATION

Right, well, remember what I said about Oli McBurnie and him probably going to Sunderland about an hour ago?

Well, he's not. It looks very much like he's about to join Barnsley instead.

19:30 - DONE DEAL

Right, well, remember what I said about Ademola Lookman and him probably not going to RB Leipzig about half an hour ago?

Well, Everton have confirmed that he's going to spend the rest of the season on loan at RB Leipzig. Toffees fans in the replies are...not happy.

19:12 - DONE DEAL

Look, my bhajis are getting cold here okay? Can we give it a break?

Newcastle have sent Rolando Aarons - who's been at the club since 2012, mind you - out on loan to Hellas Verona. The winger's played 18 league games for the Magpies in that time, and rejected a move to Hull in favour of Verona. Imagine.

19:09 - DONE DEAL

Oh, go on then...Sunderland have signed Ovie Ejaria on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season as Chris Coleman and co battle hard against relegation.

19:08 - DONE DEAL

My curry's just got to the office, back in a couple.

18:58 - DONE DEAL

Watford appear to have signed a goalkeeper from the Nether Plains - Sweden Under-21 international Pontus Dahlberg, who looks like a stone cold killer of Orcs, cats, possibly small dogs, and some creatures which only exist in nightmares. And they're all scared of him.

Anyway...he's in on a five-and-a-half year deal from IFK Göteborg, where he's returning on loan till the summer. It's the sunlight, see. He can't stand it.

18:54 - DEAL OFF

Trouble for Newcastle, with Aleksandar 'Mad Dog' Mitrovic now looking like he isn't going to Anderlecht.

Why is that trouble? Well, Newcastle were looking at doing the deal because Islam Slimani's on his way in from Leicester. If it's the Magpies who have pulled the plug, it could mean bad things for the Algerian.

18:52 - TRANSPORT DRAMA

It's not deadline day unless someone's off on a mad dash somewhere, is it? This time it's Lille centre-back Ibrahim Amadou, who's on a train to London heading for...somewhere. Sky Sports aren't sure - but Crystal Palace and West Ham have both been linked today; £16m for Palace and loan for the Hammers. One to watch.

18:47 - DONE DEAL

Chuba Akpom! He's gone to STVV! Who are STVV? They're in Belgium! Who's Chuba Akpom? He plays for Arsenal! But you know that, didn't you?

He's on loan till the end of the season, and if my Football Manager 18 save is anything to go by, bank on him scoring a 93rd minute winner against Newcastle in the second game of Fulham's Premier League campaign next season.

18:43 - LOOKING ELSEWHERE

Bit of an unexpected one from Sky in Germany, who are reporting that RB Leipzig have been sniffing around Everton youngster Ademola Lookman. Young English players very much in demand in Germany, it seems - he could (or could have, this doesn't look as though it's happening now) join Jadon Sancho and Reece Oxford in the Bundesliga.

18:36 - DONE DEAL

Henri Saivet has left Newcastle on loan for the rest of the season, heading to Turkish Super Lig club Sivasspor in order to get game time ahead of the summer's World Cup. He's played just four times this season, poor lamb.

18:35 - LUCAS MOURA DETAILS

Well that was quick. It's a deal worth around £22m, with Spurs confirming that the 25-year-old, who seems to have been 25 for approximately 14 years, has signed a five-and-a-half year deal and will wear the club's number 27 shirt.

18:32 - DONE DEAL!

Tottenham have signed Lucas Moura! And they've done it with a handshake montage! And Serge Aurier and Son Heung-min are involved!

More details, contract length and all, when Spurs release them. But we believe it's a deal worth around £25m.

18:23 - DONE DEAL!

MATHIEU DEBUCHY IS FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

18:19 - FEELING A MCBURNING SENSATION

Looks like Chris Coleman will be getting a little help from south Wales at the Stadium of Light, Oli McBurnie looking at a move to the Stadium of Light.

18:15 - LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOO

Right, where were we? Oh yeah.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is Arsenal's new number 14

Riyad Mahrez isn't going anywhere

The world's most handsome man now plays for Chelsea

Michy Batshuayi will be doing Twitter banters from Dortmund until the summer
