West Ham United face West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday night, with both sides looking for a much needed three points to kick off 2018.
West Ham have taken eight points from a possible 15 in their last five matches and boss David Moyes will want a more consistent record going into the new year.
Here's how Moyes could select his West Ham side against West Brom on Tuesday:
Adrian is expected to keep his place in goal ahead of Joe Hart after some impressive displays since regaining the number one spot.
Amidst a defensive injury crisis, David Moyes will have been impressed with the impact James Collins has had in recent weeks. The former Wales international will be partnered by Aaron Cresswell and Angelo Ogbonna in a three-man defence at London Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The offensive capabilities of natural full-backs Pablo Zabaleta and Arthur Masuaku should give Moyes the forward momentum that he needs against a West Brom side who are vulnerable in wide areas.
While the former Manchester United manager has rotated his front three heavily in recent weeks, their midfield four have remained fairly cemented, with only Cheikhou Kouyate being the only man to have not started the last three league games.
The line-up of Manuel Lanzini, Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic will likely be favoured by Moyes against a struggling West Brom outfit. Despite being forced to shift positions in recent weeks, Arnautovic has remained in the side due to his fantastic performances.
The pace of Lanzini and the predatory instincts of Hernandez should provide the attacking pressure necessary to undo West Brom's defence.
