Brighton travel to Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day to face Chelsea, and a win for the Seagulls could potentially lift them to tenth in the league.
Here is the best potential lineup for the match...
- Ryan 1
Ex-Valencia man Mat Ryan has played in every minute of every game for Brighton this season. The Australian has been key to what has been a very well organised defence for the newly promoted side.
This defence has been excellent this season. With only 23 goals conceded so far, they have the lowest tally for goals conceded out of all of the so called 'lesser clubs', except for Burnley, who currently sit in seventh.
Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk have been instrumental to their success, and manager Chris Hughton will be hoping that his key men will remain injury free over the busy Christmas period.
Solly March has filled in at the left of the midfield four in recent weeks, and has performed well.
Ex-Celtic man Beram Kayal has not featured that much this season. Dutchman Davy Propper has been the key man in midfield alongside Dale Stephens, however due to the fixture pile up, Hughton will look to use his squad depth for the next few games.
Pascal Gross was the man again for Brighton at the weekend, as he scored the winner against Watford. The German was partnered by Tomer Hemed against the Hornets, however Glenn Murray is set to return against Chelsea on Boxing Day.
Murray must thread lightly against the Blues however, as the ex-Crystal Palace man is one booking away from suspension.
