Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic has been on fire for both club and country this season, with the USA international recently scoring the winner against Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim.

Since being given his chance back in the 2015/16 season, Pulisic has grown in confidence and this season has been one of Dortmund's best players. The American was rewarded for his efforts this year by being named U.S. Soccer Male Player of the Year for 2017.

The Hershey-born star's main trait is dribbling and this season, Pulisic has terrorised defences in both the Bundesliga and Europe.

The American is in good company in regards to his dribbling stats, with only Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. boasting better statistics.

At only 19-years old, the USA international is being touted as one of the next big stars in the game, and when comparing his numbers to the greatest players of this current era when they were his age, Pulisic boasts the better record.

For many this stat might not mean much, with regards to the countries in which the players play for. However, the goals-per-game ratio of the American is outstanding for a man of his age.

Despite not succeeding in qualifying for the upcoming World Cup in Russia, Pulisic was incredible for his country in the qualification rounds, with 6 goals and 7 assists.

Despite being in great goalscoring form for his country, Pulisic will be the first to admit that he has not been the most clinical in front of goal for his club side.

With only three goals this season and one assist in the league, more will be expected of the American in the coming months. That being said however, the USA international has improved since last season in this department, with the Dortmund star finishing last campaign with three goals and six assists in the Bundesliga.

One thing is for certain for this up and coming star, he will only get better, and it will be interesting to see what happens in regards to which club Pulisic will be playing at next season if the American can continue his good form.
