Liverpool face Huddersfield on Saturday in a game that both sides will be desperate to gain the three points.
Huddersfield will be hoping to build on their impressive defeat of Manchester United by claiming another giant killing, whereas Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are just desperate for a league win - something they have been without for over a month now.
David Wagner will face up against his old friend and former mentor Klopp for the first time in their careers, but there will be more important battles on the pitch, if either side are to prevail as winners.
Here are the four key battles that will take place at Anfield...
4. Mohamed Salah vs Christopher Schindler
Since his arrival from Roma in the summer, Mohamed Salah has been Liverpool's stand out player. Injuries to Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane have meant the Egyptian has been a consistent figure in Klopp's starting XI and he has proved his worth so far.
Salah will come up against Christopher Schindler, a player who has impressed Terriers fans ever since his arrival from 1860 Munich back in 2016. Schindler helped his side gain promotion and now looks like a solid Premier League centre-half.
The 27-year-old will face a tough test coming up against the pace and skill of Salah, so he should be expecting a busy day at Anfield.
3. Laurent Depoitre vs Joel Matip
This is a battle we should all be looking forward to. Liverpool's defensive fragility is once again under the spotlight following their dreadful performance against Spurs last weekend.
Joel Matip is expected to keep his place in the back-line, but he faces a tough battle against Belgian forward Laurent Depoitre.
The towering striker will hope to use his physicality to bully the Liverpool back-four which is so bereft of confidence, and his performance will be key to whether Huddersfield get a result or not. Matip is no slouch, but Depoitre's physicality may be too much for Cameroonian.
2. Jordan Henderson vs Aaron Mooy
It's fair to say Aaron Mooy would've enjoyed himself last weekend. The former Manchester City player scored the opening goal in the Terriers' victory, helping his side to their first win in five.
He has been an inspirational figure for Huddersfield since his loan move back in 2016, and his performances earned him a permanent switch this summer.
Mooy has positioned himself behind Depoitre to form a promising attack, and Jordan Henderson will have to be tactically sound to stop the Australian getting in behind the midfield. The former Sunderland man is expected to play a deeper role, giving Wijnaldum the freedom to push forward.
1. Jurgen Klopp v David Wagner
It's not an exaggeration for the media, these two really are very good friends.
After meeting during their playing days, Klopp has gone onto become the godfather to Wagner’s daughter, and Wagner was Klopp’s best man at his wedding.
It's the first time these two have come up against each other in a competitive fixture and eyes and cameras will be flitting between the pitch and the dugout to see how they react in the competitive arena of the Premier League, when pitted against each other.
There will surely be bear hugs and big smiles whatever the outcome, but Klopp may have wanted someone else to face at this difficult stage of the season, rather than someone who knows him quite so well.
