20:43 - LLORENTE TO SPURS

This one looks about as done as it's going to get. Expect an announcement in a few minutes after Spurs' Under-23 game against West Ham, maybe at 9pm sharp...

20:41 - EVERTON INCOMING

England youth international Dennis Adeniran (sorry, that's Dennis Emmanuel Abiodun Bamidele Chij Adeniran) is on the verge of joining Everton. What a pack of teenagers they've got at Goodison - and they know how to bring them through, too!

20:37 - KRUL INTENTIONS

It's not been a great start to the season down on the south coast for Brighton, and it looks like the Seagulls are looking for an upgrade on Mat Ryan between the sticks. Tim Krul on the verge...

20:35 - DONE DEAL

Young winger Ryan Kent impressed for Liverpool last season on loan at Barnsley, and now he's heading off to the German top flight with SC Freiburg. Big hopes for the 20-year-old.

20:30 - ROSS BARKLEY REJECTS CHELSEA MOVE

Absolutely incredible. BBC Sport's David Ornstein has told Radio 5Live that Everton's Ross Barkley has rejected a move to Chelsea.

That makes it somewhere between 1,135 and 850,285 players who have turned down the Blues in the last...36 hours now?

20:27 - DONE DEAL

Burton Albion have completed the signing of John Brayford from Sheffield United, after he spent last season on loan with the Championship side. He absolutely doesn't look like a footballer - more like a craft IPA brewer.

20:20 - DONE DEAL

It all went a bit quiet from 4-6pm, didn't it? Cardiff City first-teamer Craig Noone has moved to Bolton on a two-year deal.

On signing, he said: “I am delighted to get it all sorted and I cannot wait to play for Bolton Wanderers. There had been some interest from other clubs, but Bolton was always my first choice. They are a massive club and I am looking forward to getting going.”

20:17 - DONE DEAL (AND SNAZZY ANNOUNCEMENT)

You know you've got way too much deadline day time on your hands when...

Everton have signed 19-year-old forward Nikola Vlasic from Hadjuk Split on a five-year deal. Apparently they weren't beaten down enough after Gylfi Sigurdsson's wondergoal knocked them out of the Europa League.

20:15 - DONE DEAL

This might be the most trivial deal we've covered today, but hey. It's Birmingham, which means it's Harry Redknapp, which means it's TOTALLY SUPER DEADLINE DAY. Anyway, Daniel Scarr's gone to Wycombe on loan.

20:02 - ARSENAL LEMAR DETAILS

So, there's a lot bouncing around at the moment from the respective mouthpieces of various clubs, but it looks as though Arsenal agreed a deal for Thomas Lemar with Monaco before being turned down by the player himself - even though some Arsenal players on international duty with him tried their very best.

Speaking of which, his France side just went 1-0 up on the Netherlands early on - Antoine Griezmann with the goal.

20:00 - SE QUEDA

We know Alexis Sanchez is staying put - but so is Virgil van Dijk at Southampton. It's attack which has proved tricky for the Saints this season, but with him - you'd have to assume - coming back to training and first-team action, that'll be a big boost.

19:57 - MAN CITY HUMBLED

Not just no Alexis Sanchez - City have failed to prise Jonny Evans away from the might of West Brom and Tony Pulis' bony, bony hands.

19:54 - ON THE BEACH

Earlier, we had Northampton not signing anybody because they've sacked their manager. This evening, it's a poorly-planned (or really well-planned?) holiday!

19:45 - DONE DEAL

Benfica have brought 27-year-old Barcelona full-back Douglas in on what appears to be a season-long loan. He's played, erm, three league games for Barca since he moved in 2014.

19:30 - FIVE DONE DEALS

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Right. So...First and possibly biggest, Watford have brought 26-year-old Udinese defender Molla Wague in on a season-long loan, giving Marco Silva even more options at the back.

The next big incoming? Ezequiel Schelotto, Sporting CP's marauding Argentine right-back, joins Brighton for an undisclosed fee. The best bit? Italian citizenship means he doesn't even need a work permit. Cor, it's easy pre-Brexit isn't it?

Leicester have loaned out Nampalys Mendy to Nice just a year after bringing him to the KP from the Ligue 1 side, while Liverpool have pinged youngster Jordan Williams out to Rochdale until January.

Last but not least? Winger Jordan Graham has joined Fulham on loan from Wolves for the season.

19:29 - LEICESTER KEEP PUSHING

Leicester have kept pushing for moves this evening - it really is deja vu all over again, as they say.

Aleksandar Dragović is the man, linked with a move to Manchester United just two summers ago, who Craig Shakespeare is looking at to quicken up his defence.

19:24 - DONE DEAL

Alaves have signed Stoke City forward ('star' is too strong really, isn't it?) Bojan Krkic on a season-long loan, after a spell on loan with Mainz last season.

His main claim to fame? Either being a Barcelona product - and who isn't these days? - or being only the seventh player to score in all four of Europe's big leagues. And the Eredivisie to boot!

19:12 - DONE DEAL

Birmingham City have broken their club transfer record to bring Jota in from Brentford! The 26-year-old Spaniard spent last season impressing on loan at Eibar.

Harry Redknapp, eh? Always making deals happen.

19:05 - DONE DEALS

Inter have taken youngster Yann Karamoh from Caen on a two-year loan with a purchase option, but far more importantly...

DEPORTIVO have brought Lucas Perez home from north London on a season-long loan. There's no mention of an option to buy in Arsenal's statement, but if there's something in Depor's then we'll let you know.

19:01 - ADRIEN SILVA TO LEICESTER

Sound familiar? It looked nailed on back on January's deadline day but never went through - now Leicester have a second shot at signing Sporting CP's Adrien Silva.

Chain reactions coming...

18:54 - SAKHO TO PALACE

Closer and closer...medical to come. Just over four hours to go. Clock's ticking...

18:45 - THOMAS LEMAR TO LIVERPOOL

Lemar to Arsenal looks to be off. Lemar to Liverpool looks no more likely at all. Why?

He's starting for France in an hour's time.

18:42 - MAMADOU SAKHO TO CRYSTAL PALACE

Maybe he hasn't been a super popular figure around Liverpool recently anyway, but Mamadou Sakho is in London - ostensibly to secure a permanent, £26m move to Crystal Palace.

It's well over a year since his last first-team appearance for Liverpool. He has to go somewhere. Is this it?

18:35 - KYLIAN MBAPPE SIGNING DETAILS

PSG have put out a full statement on their website - it's a one-year loan deal with an obligation to sign the teenager permanently on a four-year deal next summer. HERE. WE. GOOOOOO.

18:30 - KYLIAN MBAPPE SIGNS FOR PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN

Finally. Finally! No details released from either PSG or Monaco yet, but this is almost certainly the second most expensive transfer of all time.

18:26 - JUVE BID FOR BELLERIN

Well, that's one way to replace Dani Alves...

18:20 - DONE DEAL

Manchester City continue to act like they're following the Chelsea model three or four years behind - and they've just pammed Jason Denayer out on loan to Galatasaray. His fourth loan spell in four seasons, and his second to Gala.

18:18 - DWIGHT GAYLE UPDATE

So, Newcastle look to have turned down an £18m bid from Fulham for Dwight Gayle - if it ever did come in - and have been told that they can have midfielder Tom Cairney instead of the cash.

18:15 - DONE DEAL

A full, big, actual real signing! For money! From one club to another! Permanently!

Watford bring in Marvin Zeegelaar from Sporting CP on a four-year deal in a deal worth around £3m, linking back up with his old manager Marco Silva.

18:10 - WORLD NEWS

Elsewhere in the footballing world, defeat to Syria in a World Cup Qualifier this afternoon means that Qatar will, in 2022, be the first nation to host the competition without ever qualifying for it in the past.

But at least we're moving it to another time of year to accommodate them.

18:01 - DONE DEAL

Well that's torn it, hasn't it?

Yohan Mollo goes to Fulham on a free transfer after his Zenit contract was terminated. One year contract with an option for a further 12 months later, we understand.

18:00 - T-MINUS FIVE HOURS UNTIL WINDOW CLOSES

Sorry for the little gap, I had to go and do a spot of filming (check the 90min YouTube channel in a bit!) and, well, it's a bit lull-y at the moment. Even the things that are happening are things not happening.

See?

17:32 - BANTER SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE DAY

17:22 - SWANS/SPURS SWAPS

It's all gone a bit quiet on the Tottenham/Fernando Llorente front, but that doesn't mean nothing's happening. Patience required here, but it's coming...

17:20 - GAYLE FORCE

Money, money, money! Fulham aren't going to be happy unless they're promoted this season, and they're ready to splash the cash to make sure it happens...

If you're Newcastle, you snap their hands off here. Right?

17:12 - BLAME GAME

Did Arsenal bid too late for Lemar? Did City bid too late for Alexis Sanchez? Is it something to do with Monaco? Are chain transfers actually too complicated to pin the blame on any one single club?

17:06 - DONE DEAL

One for erstwhile 90min editor, Liverpool and Forest Green fan Andy Headspeath here...

17:04 - BUSY, BUT...

As busy as it feels like it's been today...

16:55 - MAHREZ TO CHELSEA

Nobody's quite (or even a little bit) sure where Riyad Mahrez is - but beIN Sports seem to think he'll be going to Chelsea after earlier reports of him hanging around Barcelona. Finally some good news for Antonio Conte?

16:45 - NUMBERS ARE WEIRD

16:40 - DONE DEAL

Liverpool have sent their second player of the day out on loan. Divock Origi went to Wolfsburg earlier and now Allan Rodrigues de Souza (or, erm, just Allan) has gone to Cypriot side Apollon Limassol for the season!

16:33 - DONE DEAL

Manchester City's Jadon Sancho is no longer Manchester City's Jadon Sancho! He's Borussia Dortmund's new number 7.

A 17-year-old without a senior appearance. Is Borussia Dortmund's new number seven. Replacing Ousmane Dembele.

16:33 - MEANWHILE, IN CRICKET...

This, in the top division of English cricket. What a world.

16:27 - OH, MATE...

Alex Lacazette: King of screencapping nonsense inspirational memes and banging some emojis on them. It's not exactly Alexis posting pictures of Atom and Humber, is it?

16:24 - EXCHANGE RATE BANTZ

The Mirror's John Cross on the Lemar deal...

16:16 - LEMARKABLE

Excellent from set-pieces, has a track record of scoring against Spurs...but is that all enough for Arsenal to - maybe - break the English transfer record to bring 21-year-old Thomas Lemar to the Emirates?

It's getting closer...

16:14 - DONE DEAL

Swansea have done a young goalkeeper signing. He's got nice stripy gloves on in the picture they've used, that's about all the analysis you're getting on this one.

16:11 - ARSENAL EXODUS

Is there going to be anybody left at the Emirates by the end of the day? Adios Lucas Perez.

16:04 - PALACE CLOSE IN ON TURKEY STRIKER

Looks like Crystal Palace might not be getting Oumar Niasse after all...Matt Law at the Telegraph reporting a move for Besiktas front-man Cenk Tosun.

Not quite sure why he's so confused about who he is though. He's got 18 international caps and a Champions League goal - not exactly obscure and unknown.

15:54 - DONE DEAL

Leeds have brought in their sixteenth new player of the summer, Hamburg striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga on a season-long loan to wear their number nine shirt. Promotion or bust for Thomas Christiansen's men?

15:50 - #90MINMEETS

While Scott was taking you all through the early session, by the way, I was talking to Del from Kingston-based band Midfield Workhorse for our 90min Meets series.

90min Meets alumni include Chase & StatusAxwell /\ Ingrosso and Jonnie Peacock - so look forward to reading that chat tomorrow!

15:42 - SPURS MOVE FOR BARCA STAR

Well now, well now, well now. The Telegraph are reporting that Tottenham are getting close to bringing in Barcelona's Andre Gomes on loan!

That would surely knock any Ross Barkley deal on the head...right?

15:38 - DONE DEAL

Not an incoming, though. Northampton Town have sacked manager Justin Edinburgh, so we can faaaairly safely say they won't be bringing any players in today.

15:35 - PAPY DJILOBYEBYE

Sunderland fans, Papy Djilobodji is gone! ...to Dijon on a season-long loan. Remember when he signed last summer at the last second for £8m?

15:32 - NUMBER SILLINESS

Know how good it is when people get overly serious about squad numbers? Well, Swansea have given Renato Sanches 85. Eighty five! Exceptional work.

EDIT: NOPE - SEE 16:45

15:20 - ICYMI

Might've been dropped in the crossover here, but Divock Origi has headed out to Wolfsburg on a season-long loan. £6m fee plus wages, by most accounts.

15:15 - SANCHEZ MOVE IN THE BALANCE

Talk about a saga. Despite reports earlier that Arsenal have agreed to sell Alexis Sanchez in a deal worth £60m...well, it's Deadline Day. There are Doubts. Capital D.

Watch this space.

15:12 - MBAPPE MINUTES AWAY

Almost certainly the biggest move of the day - Paris Saint-Germain look to have finally wrapped up the signing of Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe...

15:10 - CHELSEA PANIC BID FOR TORINO STAR

Yep - Torino did have players who weren't Andrea Belotti and Joe Hart last season!

Sky are reporting that Chelsea have agreed a deal with the Serie A side for wing-back Davide Zappacosta worth around £23m.

Panic setting in at Stamford Bridge?
