Championship side Reading FC have become the first club to show a kit launch in virtual reality.

The home strip comes with the traditional blue and white hoops, while the away threads are bright orange, possibly intended to dazzle opponents.
"As a club we are always exploring new ways to engage with our supporters, and show that we are for the fans," said Adam Benson, the club's
"We try to push the boundaries of what is possible in order to build an even closer bond between the club and its fans.
"With the help of Gate Reality and the use of virtual reality to launch the kit, we have placed loyal fans in the dressing room with the squad to experience the kit reveal alongside some of their heroes."
