​Roma Midfielder Leandro Paredes has just signed a four-year contract with Russian League side Zenit Saint Petersburg.


The fee has been confirmed to be €23m plus a €4m worth of add ons.

The Argentine midfielder had to undergo a lengthy medical test before signing for the Russian club managed by former Premier League winning manager Roberto Mancini. 


Paredes originally joined Roma from Boca Juniors back in 2014 for more than €6m and now, at 23-years-old, has his eyes set for a challenge in Russia. 

Last season Paredes impressed with in his 27 appearances for Roma in Serie A as he created a total of 43 chances and held a passing accuracy average of a solid 89%.
