Swansea City are eyeing up a loan deal that would see England Under-21 striker Tammy Abraham at the Liberty Stadium next season.

Speaking to BBC Wales, via the Daily Mail, Swansea Chairman Huw Jenkins said the South Wales club are also battling for Abraham's signature with Newcastle and Brighton.

The Chelsea striker spent last season on loan at Bristol City, and scored an impressive 26 goals during the campaign.

Antonio Conte's Blues wish the 19-year-old to continue his development in a similar vain, and Swansea could be the perfect next move for him due to his already strong relationship with ex-Chelsea coach Paul Clement.

"Tammy does not have Premier League experience, but we are interested," Jenkins told BBC Wales.

"Paul knows him from Chelsea. If you look at the options which have been publicised, (they are) Brighton, Newcastle and ourselves. So it is left to Tammy and his family to decide where he wants to go next."

At present, Abraham is in Poland for the Under-21 Championships with England, and has previously said he will decide where he will play next season after the tournament is over.

'I'm not too sure (about his future). Hopefully it will be in the Premier League, After this season I need to take myself to the next level. That's the type of person I am, I always want to do better", Abraham said.

With the prospect of both Gylfi Sigurdsson and Fernando Llorente leaving the club, Swansea are certainly keen to add Abraham to their attacking line-up this summer.
