Memphis Depay was one of the most underwhelming Premier League signings in recent transfer windows.

The Netherlands winger managed just seven goals in 53 appearances after joining the Red Devils in 2015 for £25m before being eventually sold in January earlier this year, departing for Lyon after failing to impress new manager Jose Mourinho.

He evidently still holds United close to his heart, despite his below par performances in the Premier League, as he posted a photo on Instagram of the club's crest while on holiday in Beverly Hills, California.

The 23-year-old also displayed his affection for former side PSV with a similar necklace, having emerged as one of Europe's brightest prospects after scoring 22 goals in 30 Eredivisie appearances during the 2014-15 season.

He has enjoyed a new lease of life at Lyon, scoring five goals in 17 Ligue 1 matches.
