Dani Alves caused an angry reaction from Juventus fans after posting an image of the boots he wore in the 2015 Champions League final when Barcelona beat the Bianconeri 3-1.

He captioned the picture with: "I found my Berlin final shoes at home. My respect boys."

The Brazilian full-back has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City this summer, and looks set to be reunited with former coach Pep Guardiola.

And Juventus fans have voiced their disappointment at Alves' social media activity ahead of his potential departure.

One comment under the post said: "The respect he had earned from supporters (mine had you as a player of Seville), you're burning in a few days. Congrats."

"Dani Alves does not honour our shirt. That for me comes first. Must go," another comment added.

Alves was part of the Juventus side that lost 4-1 to Real Madrid in the Champions League final at the Millennium Stadium earlier this month.

Juventus are expected to demand around £5m for the 34-year-old, who won three La Liga titles, two Spanish Cups and two Champions Leagues with Guardiola before the Catalan coach left Barcelona in 2012.

Alves made 33 appearances in all competitions for the Old Lady last season, scoring six goals and providing six assists.
