Everton are considering an £18m bid for Feyenoord and Denmark striker Nicolai Jorgensen.
The 26-year-old impressed during his first season with the Dutch side, scoring 21 Eredivisie goals and helping Feyenoord win the league title for the first time since 1999.
Danish publication BT claim Everton are looking to bolster their forward roster with first choice striker Romelu Lukaku expected to leave this summer, and Jorgensen could be brought in to replace the Belgium international.
Jorgensen's agent, Mikkel Nissen, said: "The interest is generally great, but I will not comment on specific club names."
Feyenoord sporting director Martin Van Geel recently admitted his side could lose Jorgensen, who has previously played for Bayer Leverkusen and Copenhagen.
He said: "It is possible that we lose him, but on the other hand, we try to keep our players [for] as long as possible, knowing what the situation is. We are not stupid and we know it can happen, but we have a vision of transfers, where we extend contracts at the right time."
Everton have already spent big this summer, with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford joining from Sunderland and attacking midfielder Davy Klaassen transferring from Feyenoord's league rivals Ajax, with the fees for the pair totalling £58.6m.
The Toffees had previously been interested in signing Ajax youngster Kasper Dolberg, who scored 16 league goals during the 2016-17 season in a breakout campaign for the 19-year-old, but a deal for Dane remains unlikely.
