Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has signed a new deal with Barcelona that will keep him at the Nou Camp until 2022.

The German has established himself as the club's number one choice this season and helped Luis Enrique's men claim the Copa del Rey at the weekend with a 3-1 victory over Alavés in the final.

Ter Stegen joined the club from German side Borussia Monchengladbach back in 2014 and has been linked with a move away in recent weeks.

However, those rumours about his possible departure this summer have been laid to rest with the news that he has extended his contract at the Nou Camp and the club's website now suggests that his buy-out clause stands at a whopping €180m.

Ter Stegen made 46 appearances in all competitions throughout the season and kept 17 clean sheets, 13 of which came in La Liga where Barcelona finished runners up to fierce rivals Real Madrid.
