Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly received a transfer offer from Paris Saint Germain, and an answer is expected from him within the following week.

Aubameyang has been in fine form throughout the last season, beating Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski to the Bundesliga Golden Boot with 31 goals.

However, it has been reported within the last fortnight that Aubameyang is keen to leave the Signal Iduna Park, and according to Margot Dumont of BeIN Sports, Dortmund and PSG have already entered discussions over a potential transfer.

The tweets, written in French, roughly translate to:

"The #PSG and #Dortmund are entering negotiations on a possible transfer of Aubameyang to Paris at the next transfer."

"According to our information, a very interesting financial offer would have already reached him, answer expected from him next week. #LT"

Aubameyang has been at Dortmund since 2013, notching an extremely impressive 85 goals in 128 games for the club, but it seems that the Gabon striker may well have played his last game in Germany.

News of this would be welcomed by PSG fans, whose team have been searching for more striking options ever since the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic; despite Edison Cavan winning Ligue 1's Golden Boot.

As the youth within AS Monaco begins to be stripped from the Principality's team, PSG's financial strength is likely to be exemplified throughout the summer in order to fight for and reclaim the Ligue 1 title once after a poor 2016/17 season.
