While all the talk this season has been about Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil heading into the final 12 months of their contracts, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's own contract situation has flown somewhat under the radar.

The England international only has 12 months to run on his current deal, and there are plenty of Premier League clubs that have been linked with the midfielder's signature - including Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Ox was on hand to answer questions from the media ahead of Arsenal's FA Cup final showdown with Chelsea. One might expect questions to solely be out the cup final, but one reporter found time to ask the Ox about his future, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

The Ox was quick to play down any potential move, instead stating that his only focus was on helping Arsenal win the competition for a third time in four years.

Chamberlain has missed the last two games through injury but is expected to be fit for the Gunners' season-defining game against Chelsea on Saturday.

Arsenal have endured their worst finish to a campaign since 1996 after failing to qualify for the Champions League for the fist time in 19 years.

An FA Cup victory may not appease the fans who want Arsene Wenger to leave the club, but it will go some way to making sure Arsenal finish the season on a high.

The result could also play a factor in Chamberlain's future, with the 23-year-old likely to be open to the idea of leaving the Emirates should Arsenal fail to win a trophy

Liverpool are the club who have been most frequently linked with the England international, and it is believed that manager Jurgen Klopp is a keen admirer of the dynamic midfielder.
